Remarks :

I have applied for SRM University, MGR University, Vels University, Panimalar Engineering College, Rajalakshmi Engineering College, etc.I didn't avail myself any quota for admission, I got admission by my marks. The admission criteria for my program was, one should have atleast 40% of marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I have already partially decided to join RIT, Me and my parents went there for just a visit. After talking to the staff, they were so kind and they were doing enormous activities in the college. They are now only developing in their perspective but after joining the college they are growing too big in a short span of time. I joined the college through management. I didn't wait for the counseling because major important subject groups were filling out rapidly in both management and counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since my childhood, I was interested in computer-related things and when I grew up I got an interest in coding, that's why i chose the Computer Science group. The Faculties were liberal in all the ways and the student ratio is at a good level. All the faculties were well trained, some of the professors were very friendly too. The teaching method varies from one faculty to another. Since this is quarantine time, the exams weren't that difficult. It's easy.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships like from Wipro, Zoho, etc. Developing apps, Web development, etc. I don't know much about this category, these are things only I heard of in my college. Anything wants more details we can contact the respective in charge.

Placement Experience :

I didn't know about the Placement Cell Activities in my college, but they'll start the training programs in the 3rd year onwards. My plan after completing my degree is to go to a good job and do some higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Total Fees per annum is 1,40,000/-. 80,000/- for tution, 20,000/- for others like placement, etc.. and 30,000/- for transport. Apart from other colleges, this is better in my opinion. I didn't avail like that, because I'm in my 2nd year, I didn't get any information like that till now.

Campus Life :

They are conducting many activities every month. Both Faculties and the Students' club. There are all kinds of books in all the departments related If some book is not available the college will arrange for that. Then it has a remote electronic library (E-Library), it contains all kind of book in the portal and we can access through our home too. The classrooms are available with two-person benches with a green board, projectors in some classes. They are winning in some sports too, but I don't know that much about sports. The students running in all type of social media like Instagram, Linked In, Github etc.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
