Remarks :

Before taking admission to the college, I appeared in UPSEE 2020 exam. I scored 172 marks and secured a rank of 11191(B.pharma). After the release of the cut-off list, I applied for desired colleges. I got shortlisted for NIET GREATER NOIDA. There was a counselling session for admission at the college itself. I attended the counselling, submitted the documents required and paid the fees, then I got the admission confirmation letter. There are no such criteria for admission such as minimum marks or age, it totally depends on your UPSEE rank and the cut-off of the college. If you secured the required range of rank then you k apply for counselling and take admission. During the counselling day, all the candidates are instructed to bring the required original documents for the admission process. They will verify your documents and if everything is fine, you just have to pay the fees and your admission will be confirmed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose BPharma because of its vast scope, I can get recruited in research oriented organisations or can start on my own as a pharmacist. Our college follows the curriculum which is set out by AKTU. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:8. Our college also runs a mentor-mentee program in which a group of about 6-7 students are mentored by one of the faculties of the college. Most of the faculty uses PowerPoint presentations and slide shows while taking lectures and nowadays it's been more pronounced as there is only a virtual classroom going on. AKTU took offline exams in March as the pandemic was in control. The overall difficulty level of the exam is moderate and the exam pattern is also good. It was a bit difficult to pass the exam but if you have gone through all the notes provided by the teachers, it will be very easy to pass the exam.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides the best placement in Delhi NCR. It is also ranked 49 by NIRF. Placement opportunities are one of the major factors that many students are attracted to NIET. As soon as you enter your final year, you become eligible for campus placement but you have to pass in your final year exams otherwise it's of no use. Some of the recruiters are:- 1. Wipro 2. Nestle 3. Genpact 4. Modi-mundi pharma Pvt Ltd 5. Rapross pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd 6. Apollo pharma 7. OPTUM 8. Aristo pharmaceutics Pvt And many more. The average package of B.Pharma is 5.6lakhs per annum. After getting my degree I will look forward to getting recruited from campus placement cell.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure for B.Pharam:- -1.3lakhs for the first year -1.05lakhs for all consecutive years. Financial assistance is provided to only those students who come under the EWS category, but there are limited seats for EWS candidates. There is also a scheme for availing scholarships but the scholarships are provided by UP GOVT.

Campus Life :

Our campus includes three different blocks for different programmes. Separate hostels for boys and girls are also there on the campus. Every block has its own library but there we also have a bigger library in the main building which is accessible to every student from any program or block. Our block's library has all the required books for the Pharmacy students. The thesis written by M.Pharma students is also available in the library for the junior students. Our campus has a football ground and a basketball court. A canteen is also available which is well maintained, hygiene and good quality of food are provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Pharma is a better option for science students, there is no foundation you are PCB or PCM, and both stream students are eligible for this course. There are many career options after b.pharma like QA, QC, Production, Marketing, Drug inspector etc. Faculty members are experienced, helpful, polite.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. 70-80 percent of students get placements. My highest package till now is 22 lakhs and the average package is 4-5 lakhs. If you talk about my plans after getting the degree, it is to get a job in a high-level company.

I took IIT JEE exam to get admission in IIT(BHU) Varanasi. To get in IIT's you need to score good marks which helps you further to get admission in top IIT's with the desired branches.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in IIT BHU. But frankly speaking Number of companies that come here to hire is less as compared to old IITs like IIT Bombay and Delhi.
