Remarks :
I did not apply to any other college. The admission process is so easy. I took admission here based on my 12% the minimum criteria for applying is 45% in Class XII. I have applied for this college only because there is Placement, Teaching Environment facilities like libraries, canteen, dispensary.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As civil engineering is the oldest branch of engineering that has more job offers and higher packages in government as well as the private sector. Course curriculum courses are well designed according to the branch as per university. My subjects are being taught beyond the syllabus. courses are much advanced and ahead of other technical institutes. The faculty ratio is about 1:40. Institute has separate professors for different subjects. The faculty is very helpful, they conduct doubt sessions for the students. In a week they take 2 quizzes and 2-3 assignments. Passing an exam is not much difficult after this type of study.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities are very good. Every year college students got many internships offers from good companies. Some companies provide paid internships. I have not been to an internship yet, but as far as I know, students who do well in their internship get a pre-placement offers from companies. Guidance for students is always given from the TPO Cell and faculties of the Civil Engineering department. My senior made these projects like sewerage treatment plant, drip irrigation system, brick making machine, bio-toilet, solar mud house, Falkirk wheel bridge, suspension bridge.
Placement Experience :
The students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. Students get placement in various companies like L&T, Ultratech cement, Railway, Shree cement limited, Symphonia & graphics and many construction companies with the package of 3,00,000 to 5,00,000. College provides training for technical and preparation for Written examination also from second year onwards college provides Personality development, Softskills classes to face interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are comparatively less than others engineering colleges. College fees are only 50,000 rs. per year. I don't know so much about scholarships but few students in my branch got admission on a scholarship basis. There is a separate scholarship department for helping students. When I came to the campus almost 70% of the students in every batch were placed in the campus job.
Campus Life :
The college organizes sports and cultural fest every year. It has a big playground for all types of sports. It also organizes many social programs like women empowerment, education awareness camp etc. The College library is full of many reference books and journals like civil engineering & construction review, CW construction world. Hostels are 2 and 3 seaters and there is mess facility also. The canteen provides clean and hygienic food and water. Other hostel facilities are good. The college environment is very healthy and peaceful. The college infrastructure is good. The classroom is well ventilated and lighten. The lab has all facilities and is well equipped. The auditorium is very big.
