Remarks :
Admission criteria depend on EAMCET rank. Those who got above 2000 rank will get CSE, above 5000 will get IT, ECE, EEE branches. My rank is 4000, I didn't opt for any other college, my first preference was CBIT and I got it in the first round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is Information Technology. The Faculty is good, they teach well. The subjects are almost the same as the CSE branch. only some will differ. The interesting part of this course is Mini Projects. We have Mini Projects from the 3rd sem itself. We can learn a lot from this.
Internships Opportunities :
Only 3-4 companies come for internships. JPMC comes for interns which offer 50000 stipend with PPO 14LPA. MathWorks came for interns this year and offered a 50000 stipend with PPO 14LPA. Salesforce and Deloitte also come for interns.
Placement Experience :
Campus Placements are pretty good. Students who got above 10LPA are 119 this year. The Highest Package offered is Microsoft 43LPA (1 student got it this year) and service now offered 25LPA (10 students got it), F5 Networks Innovation offered 23LPA (8 students got it this year), JPMC offered 14LPA (36 students got it this year), Raam Group offered 14LPA (18 students got it this year), Oracle offered 11.5 LPA (22 students got it this year). Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 1,34,000 + 5000(college maintenance fee). Students who got above 10000 rank, will get a scholarship of the total fee, so those students should only pay 5000 for college maintenance fee. Students who got below 10000 ranks, will get a scholarship of 30000, the remaining fee should be paid by students. Those students who won't be eligible for scholarships should pay 1,34,000+5000.
Campus Life :
Tech Fest is at the starting of the month. Fest name is Sudhee. It is for 2 days. During this fest, there are many tech games not only tech games there are other games also. The cultural fest's name is Shruthi. This is really awesome thing about CBIT. Students can enjoy this a lot. This is for 3 days. Many games, dances, songs, movies, DJ all will be there. Coming to the library, it is a 2-floored building. It consists of all books related to all branches. CBIT has many clubs. NSS, street cause, IEEE, COSC, IIC, Chaitanya geethi, Chaitanya smruthi, MUN, sports club, Toast Masters, communicando, Transcendent.
Hostel Facilities :
CBIT doesn't have Girls Hostel, but it has a Boys Hostel. For Girls, there is Jaya Hostel. It is a nearby ocean park, another one is nearby Sandwicho cafe, there is stanza hostel in Narsinghi. There are many hostels in Mehidipatnam.
