Remarks :
After my 12th I had taken the AP EMCET exam and scored 21710th rank.In the counseling sessions, I applied to the different colleges as per my interests like vvit,bapatla engineering college, etc. After the counseling, I got a seat in my college which is one of my preferences. So I chose to join in my college as I like it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was fond of computers and technology I chose computer science in my b.tech. The faculty in our college is very qualified and talented. The teacher-student ratio is approximately 1:30 . All the teachers are qualified PhD in their subjects. They always tell us how to study easily and in a smart way. They use slide shows and PowerPoint to teach us. They explain us tricky and simple ways to learn. We will have 2 term exams in a semester. The pattern will be 10 marks for quiz exam 10 marks for descriptive and 5 marks for assignments. The end exams will be in different colleges as per jntuk . It will be easy to pass but hard to score
Placement Experience :
From 6th semester all students are eligible to campus placements. The faculty gives counseling and trains us from 4th semester to Crack the interviews. The companies which provides us jobs will be TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 7 lakhs per annum and average is 4 lakhs per annum and minimum is 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 90 percent of the students are getting placed in campus placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is 38000. we get merit scholarship if we score top 3 positions in our course. It is 10000 for one semester. There will be many coding contests conducted in our college.we can get some amount of money if we win there. From 6th semester we will be able to placements and interviews. The companies come to our college are TCS,INFOSYS,COGNIMTO ETC.The minimum package is 3 to 3.6 and maximum is 7 to 8 lakhs.
Campus Life :
Our college conducts many programs. we will have freshers day in the joining and vignan mahotsav in the month of January which include vignan University, vignan's nirula institute and vignan's intermediate college. All vignan groups unite to conduct this program. We will also conduct srujanankura program it is a tech fest. We will showcase many projects from 1st year to the final year in this program. In our college We will also conduct many cultural activities during the festivals .our college gives importance to sports as well as extracurricular activities like dance, singing, and social activities. We have student clubs like SAC(student association club) etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel for vignan's lara college and vignan University will be the same. The cost of the hostel is 90,000 and 5,000 for laundry. The hostel facilities always justify the cost. The rooms will be very clean and neat. The consistency is 4 members for a single room and 7 members for double bedroom flat style and 10 members for large rooms. The food is also very delicious. The menu will be attractive as they keep chicken thrice a week. The food here is unlimited and provide 3 different breakfast every day. If any can't afford the hostel, there will be private hostels outside the campus. Those hostels cost 6000 per month. Those also very safer and provide quality meals.
