Remarks :

I had applied to JEE, through which I got enrolled in multiple colleges but I opted for Thapar institute of technology because od its past placements records and great infrastructure. I am from the general quota thus no relaxation was provided at the time of admission. the college takes admission through JEE MAINS rank and also through its internal admission test, DECEMBER TEST to the second semester. the admission criteria is one has to score a minimum of 85 % in boards and clear JEE mains to apply to the college. A minimum of 3 rounds are there for counseling excluding the SPOT ROUND.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Science and Engineering is the top-notch course available at any university or college with expanding placement opportunities. Faculty at Thapar institute of TEchnology are highly qualified professionals many of them with master's degrees. The teaching curriculum is designed in student-friendly way with each subject divided into lecture, lab, and tutorial classes. Internal exams are categorized as sessional exams, mid-semester exams, vivas, and end-semester exams. throughout the semester evaluations are taken periodically.

huge number of internshipa sre offered throungh the 4 or 5 year program in Thapar institue of technology . around 1200 internships were offered in the year of 2020 giving students industry experience and helping buidilg more strong profiles for upcoming placements oppurtunities with flattering stipends.

Placement Experience :

Thapar Institue of technology has a special designated cell for placements.About 330 companies visited Thapar in the year 2020 and around 1200 students got placed. the top recruiers at thapar are samsung , accenture , asian paints , bosch, tata. in IT sector placements were from amazon , microsoft,JP morgan etc. with average package of 8lac and hihest package of 42 lac .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

for streams related to computers, the fees can go up to 200000 INR per semester, which can be fairly compensated by yearly scholarships provided at Thapar Institute of Technology. Thapar institute is known for its amazing placement records with an average package of 8lac and hoghest package pf 42 lacs.

Campus Life :

Socilities like MLSC , CSS conduct techincal fest montly.Mudra scity, girlup socity etc conduct cultural fests . Navalanda library has a wide range of books . Many social groups are at campus like mlsc, edctiet, CSS, girl up,mudra,frosh,etc

Hostel Facilities :

ensuring the best hostel life, the institute has really fantastic accommodation. the university has ten hostels= 6 for bys and 4 for girls. this includes AC accommodations for 120 boys and 96 girls. the hostels are provided with all basics commodities like water coolers ,common tv rooms, common gyms etc. hostels mess has good services some of them are under the company sudexo

The placements have decreased alot as the companies dont like to cist this college . Even if somehow someone gets placed average packed is 3-4lpa only 10-11 ge more tge. 10 lpa package or 12 loa package

Placement Experience:

The placements are started from the 5th semester. Our college faculty staff conducted special classes for preparation for interview, exams that are reated to the placements. Number of companies visited in our college and they give valuable offers for the selected students. Companies like Samsung, CEAT Tyres, Infosys comes here for giving valuable offers. The highest package of or college goes around 30 lakh per annum and the average package of our college is 6 to 9 lakh per annum. In our college the placements percentage is increasing every year. Last year the placement percentage is around 60%. But maybe this year the percentage level of placements will also increase. Maybe I will compete in placements when I get opportunities. But after degree I have a plan to do MTech.

Dream college for students who wants better future.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. More than 800+ companies visit our campus for placement some of the companies name are Microsoft, mahindra, TCS etc. The highest package of the campus is 54 lacs and average is 7.5 lacs There is 100 percent placement ratio in our college those who are eligible for placement.
