Love Sies college

Remarks :

The admission process to too easy as it just requires basic information regarding the student and all the scanned documents. The process is done on the official website of the college and can inquire for any doubts to the college faculty anytime between 10 am to 3 pm. The teaching faculty can also be contacted at any time at their WhatsApp numbers that are provided by the WhatsApp group of the associated course. The overall experience with the college till the admission was good and didn't get any issues relating to it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The term exams are conducted at a given time as they were scheduled. Since it was the lockdown year of 2020 we were supposed to give exams online which was very new to us. We all were supposed to give exams on the college's own custom-built website in association with Juno. It was a good website but with a lot of conditions in it like only one face should be visible, no darkness in the room, no sounds, etc. It was tiring for the first exams but got a habit of that too. The papers were not too hard and not too easy at the same time. They were in the right manner in which a paper is supposed to be set.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies like JW Marriott, JP MORGAN, PWC, GRANT THORNTON, IIFL, DIRECT & KMPG offer good placements and also give good experience at work. They appoint a senior who is just good for getting experience in the required field. The daily work or projects are not too burdensome on us and also they help a lot in case any issues occur to us. I worked at JW Marriott and was too excited every day as they give good experience in the overall career and are good to us always.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible after the fifth sem. The students are graded on the basis of marks and are given campus placement during the time of the last sem. There are Big companies that visit the college every year with too many jobs available at them. Most of them are very reputed companies like JP MORGAN, PWC, GRANT THORNTON, IIFL, DIRECT, etc. The average package is approx 2.5L. The profiles are selected on the basis of the knowledge and potentiality of the students. Around 80% of the students get their placements easily. I'm planing to get in learning another professional course after completing and getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The typical BCOM course doesn't cost much as other courses like MBA or BMS cost. If one wants to apply for plain BCOM then he just needs to pay 10000 for FY, approx 6000 for SY & approx 7000 for the TY. these are the fee details according to the 2020 year. Other years fee may vary. But take these digits as the base as every year the fees is around these numbers only. The college also offers too much scholarship benefits abd other govt benefits for the poor background students. They can be applied very easily and that too with less documentation. These benefits help students who want to have a degree from good college and at the same time have less fees. I got an internship at JW Marriott and was paid 6000 for month. I had a internship for 1 year.

Campus Life :

There are three biggest fests that held every year and are highly awaited for. They are Finova, Disha, and Fantasies. The Finova is held in early December and Disha is held every year in the month of September. The college has a decent library with fewer but good books that are related to the courses taught in the college. The college also has many extracurricular activities alongside studying. It mainly consists of football and cricket. The extracurricular activities are conducted separately from the college hours and hence have a huge crowd taking part in them. The main social group in the college is The Rotoract Club. It does all the social-related tasks that is fully run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was taught pretty well as the syllabus was interesting because Pillai's is an autonomous college. There are total of four exams conducted throughout the year in which 2 are unit tests and 2 are Semesters and the papers are set quite average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose that course because in the future I have to do MBA so graduation is compulsory and I found this course easy. The faculty members are so supportive and understanding. They understand students' problems. And their teaching is also so good and understanding. There is always revision before exams of every subject. The student ratio is also good like in one class there are more than 100 girls. And yes it was easy to give exams and even pass the exam. Because the teacher used to tell every single important thing in class and use to repeat so it was very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum seems to be old but the topics are well structured. We have a lot of teachers for different courses. The professors of our course are very humble and explain all things very clearly. Teachers try to cover all syllabi on time so no topic is left untouched. All teachers are qualified and have good experience except a few teachers. Exams were easy this time due to covid and exams were delayed a bit, but it usually happens as per timetable given by Mumbai university.
