Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculum is good, exams are conducted almost every 15 days and average marks all the conducted exams will be your internal marks, strict internal marks. Efficient staff are there in the college and they are punctual and students are forced to maintain 80% of attendance, else they will be asked for the reason of attendance shortage, parents are called.
Internships Opportunities :
For some students college provides internship and they will be paid suitably. The stipend will be on par with other institutions which offer internship.
Placement Experience :
In 2007 out of 60 around 40 students are placed through college campus interviews, and in 2008 10 students were placed in spite of recession. the maximum salary was aroud 5 lacs per annum and the minimum was 3 lakhs.Off campus around 20 people selected. The companies visited are Sapient, Visual Soft, Cognizant, Convergys, Satyam. etc.
College Events :
Annual days are conducted and IT Fests are conducted and as the college has good ground , we have sports events every quarter and It fests are conducted with the help of placement cell. Alumni happens once in a year. There are many instances where people from different popular IT companies will come and give the guidance in order to succeed in placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is reasonable and on par with the other colleges. There is no extra fee collected from students in the name of Placements, events etc. Fees decided by the universities and the exam fee are only the fees students has to pay. There is a separate bank in the college so there is no need to travel to do payments/ DD.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Regular government scholarships for backward caste students and scheduled caste and scheduled Tribe students . For catholic students there is little amount given as scholarship for buying books and stationary.
Campus Life :
Campus is awesome and good environment for study with full of greenery. There are plenty of grounds for students to play, ragging is not allowed and gender ratio is good, gender discrimination is not there , race, religion are not at all given any importance.
Hostel Facilities :
For my course MCA there is no hostel facility, but for intermediate and degree people college provides hostel facility. Hostels are very neat , food is tasty, hygienic and strict study hours are conducted and proper time table is followed so that students always pay attention to discipline. Proper time is also allocated for games and sports for encouraging students in all round development.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors will help students by informing about the openings in their companies, alumni has good strength every year and people try to help the current students as much as they can.
Exam Structure :
Too many exams every 15 days there will be some exam leaving the students under the impression that exams are hectic, but because of these exams students will be well prepared for the final exams, there are too many instances students are in relaxed mode during exams as they have prepared for the internal exams.
Admission :
I am a christian, we have to fill the application and for christian students there will be scrutiny of baptism certificate, SSC Transfer certificate and upon receiving all the applications , college will finalize the list of students who are selected.
Faculty :
College possess efficient and qualified lecturers and they will take the ownership of completing the syllabus on time and conducting the exams , assessing the students. There is always a professional behavior among the teachers and teachers always try to support students.
