Remarks :

The admission process in Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence starts with filling out the application form(Online/ Offline) along with competitive exam scores (CAT, MAT, XAT) after that applicant needs to submit all the academics information to the college then the assigned faculty will help with the further process based on the overall analysis. If all the documents up to the mark then an interview followed by GD will be arranged. After going through all of them the student will receive a selection letter.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I am a student of the course-Post Graduate Diploma In Management (PGDM) with specialization in marketing and finance in Lexicon MILE I can say that this is one of the best options for getting exposure to all the parts in a post-graduate programme (theory and practical both). The faculity in there is well qualified and subject experts. They support their students in all possible ways. The college follows the culture where any student can contact to faculity if any help in studies is needed. The methods followed for teaching are very well designed according to the current needs/expectations of the corporate world.

Internships Opportunities :

As of my experience, college is providing the best opportunities to its students. They provide a 6 month internship program to make students exposed to corporate world and in the Covid situation they also added a 3 month internship to it. Most of the students get really good stipend in their internships too. This is the best part of the full curriculum that college offers in PGDM.

Placement Experience :

Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence provides 100% placement with each student having a variety of options to apply for. They have a great placement team which takes care of all the students and makes sure all of them get placed. Some top recruiters are TIAA, Marriott International, ICICI and many more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is well defined by the college for PGDM it is around Rs.765000 and as the situation varies this may get slightly varied like in the case of a pandemic situation college relaxed the fees by reducing it by Rs 50000. In college, there is almost every financial assistance is provided like loans tie-ups to help students, fee payment in instalments and also scholarships based on the marks obtained by the applicant in competitive exam. They also provide 6 monthly internship in which most of the students got good stipends.

Campus Life :

Campus life is really nice. When it comes to infrastructure the college has good infrastructure with an auditorium, smart classroom & other classrooms, library, playground. They also have many committees like Sports, Media and marketing, Placements, Events etc and being a part of these committees is fun as there are many activities to do which provides exposure to students like being a good team player, coordinating event, improves skills, helps in learning new skills and many more.

Interview Experience :

Admission process- a) Fill the application form (Online/Offline) b) Submit all academic documents (graduation, 10th, 12th, Competitive exam score) c) Interview/ GD d) Final selection letter. As of my experience going through the whole process, it was really nice interviewer asked most of the questions related to subjects I studied in BBA, some general knowledge questions etc.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
