Best college in Varanasi for BCA

Remarks :

I always wanted to be a software engineer but for some reason, I could not get admission in BTech so I chose to do the BCA. Admission criteria were you should have a minimum of 60% in 10+2. There was a written test and a personal interview session the result was declared within an hour.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course to pursue a career in Computer Application. There was 10 faculty member per 50-60 student and there was other stuff like lab attendant. Most of the teachers have master's degrees in their respected field and some of them also had Ph.D.'s in their respected field. They use a whiteboard to teach and sometimes projectors were also used to explain the working of some software etc. There were practical sessions also. The exam was held semesters wise but tests and assignments were frequent. It was not much difficult to pass if you study consistently you can pass them easily.

Placement Experience :

From the 5th semester, the students were able to be sitting in the placement interviews and exams. Companies like Vodafone, Airtel, Imart, Jalans, and many local companies came for placements. The placement ratio was up to 40-60%. The average package was up to 2 lacs per anum. After completing my BCA I will go for MCA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At my time fee for the first year was 40000 and for the second and third year was 37000 and the exam fee for every year. There were many scholarship schemes like UP scholarship, Medhavi and etc were provided. I also got a scholarship. I did go for the job interviews because I wanted to pursue masters.

Campus Life :

There is nothing like a campus there was just one building where every department's classes were running and management offices computer labs and basically, everything runs in a single building. There was a small library where there not many books were there but the books you need you can get it. There were no grounds to play any kind of sports.

Interview Experience :

Yes, there was a test before the admission and question that were asked was MCQ and simple based on 10th and 12th syllabus. After the test, there was an interview also in which I was asked about myself and some questions related to the subjects. Actually, I study for them from the internet where I can find many MCQ questions.

Placement Experience:

Basically the campus placements is depend on the skills and knowledge of the student from 4th and 5th semester the students for eligible for the campus placements but the students from third semester can also get placed in companies if he or she has good skills and knowledge . The highest package offered in this college was rupees 10 lakh per annum and the average package is 450000 per annum . It also depends on the company to company. Above 50% students are placed in their dream companies in this college . My plan after getting this degree is to do MCA from NIT Trichy college by clearing the NIMCET exam. Because BCA is not that enough if we want to make our career in Big multinational companies, MCA is required.

Placement Experience:

Mostly, from the 5th semester, students start becoming eligible for campus placements. Amazing companies like HCL, Amazon, Infosys will visit the campus every year and hire the students who really performs well. The package offers keep changing depending on the position you are hired for. Mostly, freshers get a pay of 20,000 per month. Almost 50% of students will get placement. I literally want to do my masters and then get hired by a company.
