Entrance Preview :
I wrote PET 2013 and i got 130 marks in that.i could have taken any college of MP very easily but i choose MITS gwalior. Because it has given many great scientists to the county. And i hope in future also, it will serve the country similarly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a separate R&D laboratory in every department where anybody can visit and do their own research if they have any idea or they can help others in their research. If you talk about course structure, MITS is a autonomous college where course changed every time when it is needed because it is very necessary that you are up to date with the world what's new research come in the world and what's going on in the science world,you have to be very careful about that so mits makes changes whenever it is needed.
Internships Opportunities :
If you are passout, and have completed your degree then definitely my college can provide you internship, but for undergraduate students, there is no such things. I have no idea of stipend but ofcourse they pay you enough.
Placement Experience :
We have a separate department for training and placement which provide you the opportunities to get a very good placement from college almost 90% students get placed in more than one company every year. And who could not get placed from here, they get job very easily in off campus recruitment process because definitely you have a big college tag with you.
College Events :
Almost everyday you would have a chance to participate in a event there are clubs for everything like singing dancing music literature and many others and every club conducts many events also college celebrate tech fest and cultural fest every year where you would have a platform to outgrow your hobbies and skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Well, there is a diff. Fee structure for each and every year.like in 1st year you have to pay a little bit extra. After the 1st years you fees will be ₹ 37000/- per year approximately. And i think it's not so much you can also visit site for more details.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As mits is a government college so it has to follow the rules of government of MP.it provide scholarship for sc/st and handicaps.
Hostel Facilities :
Well, mits has a very good hostel but in hostel you will get a proper environment for study and preparation for higher exams also they provide very nice food in mess mits has a history of 67 years so reputation of college matters a lot for them they have a separate club for.
Alumni/Alumna :
When i came in this college my senior explained everything about the college and teachers and course structure they also gave me some books of my syllabus. Also we have a alumni cell, they every now and then organize a event to introduce alumni with the students who come in this college.
Exam Structure :
As i have told earlier, it's a autonomous government college so college is independent to conduct exam anytime but there is a proper procedure of exams first we have to give midterms exam and the average of both the mid sem add up with the final marks. Final exam normally complete within 10 days.
Admission :
First of all i filled the form of PET and wrote the exam.after few days i got my result which was 130 marks with around 1600 ranks after that i filled MITS college at top in college counseling and got mits very easily after few days i verified my document at college and paid my fees and 1st day there was orientation program that is very important for a new student because in this day you come to know about your dream college, in which you took admission.
Faculty :
As a history of 60 years, Mits has given many great scientist in the science world e.g. DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, BEL etc. And it was impossible without the great teachers mits has very nice talented experienced and knowledgeable teacher, who not only teach you but also help you to grow and think out of the box.
