Pondicherry University is ranked as 9th among Central Universities in NIRF ranking this shows excellence of my university. Study culture and curriculum is oriented with current global trend with full fledged high-tech complex. I came across PU through collegedunia and found it beneficial for me to go with my dream.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well equipped classroom with mapping and case study based lectures are brilliant features of my university. Akanksha an Institute-Industry interface gives enlarged scope. GDS and SPSS software enhances the computer labs for holistic education

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 145000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

6weeks travel agent internship was provided to us by our college partnered with Make My Trip. We were acknowledged about soft skill, execution skill with various professionals. Stipend of 30000 was given to interns as well.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is available in my college since completion of 3rd semester. Various companies like IRCTC, Make any Trip, Holiday Inn, Ritz-Carlton recruits students from my university. Average salary ranges from 5-10LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Merit based scholarship is being provided by my college to eligible students based on CAT score. Also financial assistance can be availed by economically needy students. Govt incentives are also being availed by students in my college.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is very prosperous in my institute. Big play ground for sports activity with gym and shopping complex to fulfil all round need. Reading hall is also available for studying. Annual cultural fest is organised in the auditorium for cultural development.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is available with 14 boys hostels and 8 girls hostels with both AC & Non AC rooms. Hygienic food is also available through Hostel canteen. Room affordability maintains basic needs and attached washroom with 24ÌÑ7 CCTV surveillance.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

Admission process is very simple to get admission in my college. Online application with required documents with valid CAT score to be submitted online by the candidate. After which shortlisted candidate are called for admission. No GD/PI is to be faced.

JIPMER - The Journey of Your Dreams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum consists of 19 subjects divided over 4.5 years. Often what happens for clinical subjects is we have super specialty faculties take classes for us. For example, neurosurgery classes are taken by a neurosurgeon instead of a general surgery faculty. Apart from that, many famous medical authors like Dr. Apurb Sastry and Dr. G K Pal are in our faculties. Our faculties have been sent as directors on deputation to other peripheral AIIMS as well. The facilities we get at JIPMER are hard to find anywhere else. University and Sendup exams are held at the end of the year with internals, formative assessments and ward leavings held regularly. Exams are quite difficult actually but the quality of training is sufficient for students to be able to pass them.

Remarks:

The UNIVERSITY is best for Chemistry that attracted me the most. All other departments are very good also. The Chemistry department contains very good faculties with good research background. The department attracted me most as my aim was a career in research. Also I heard from my seniors that students easily get qualified in Csir net. So I opted for the course in Chemistry

The students in my department prefer higher studies than working. However several companies like SRF limited, Chegg india limited, have taken students for job.there is a placement cell through which students are informed about the campus. There is every year an alumini meet being organized by ex students.
