VCEW-Review

Remarks :

Vivekanandha college of engineering for women is the only college that I have applied for. I did not apply for any quota for admission. Coming to admission criteria is very good to consider and gives us a better chance to educate our degree. The admission process is that they made a call to check our details and have selected for further process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course(computer science and engineering) only because of my interest. The faculty in our college is very good, so friendly. All our faculty in our college completed their master's in engineering. The teaching method of all our faculty is very appreciable. exams are not that much difficult in our college.

Internships Opportunities :

Since we in a pandemic situation, there are lots of online platforms provided by our college to do our internships, in internships we can choose domains like cloud computing, the internet of things, the dot net, etc. We can do projects under topics like android, IoT, cloud in our particular domain.

Placement Experience :

From VI semester students will be eligible for campus placement in our college, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, DXC technology, Accenture these companies visited our college for placements. The percentage should be above seventy-five percentage. My plan after getting my degree is to work in an IT company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our fee structure is 50000 per annum(fees fixed by our government). I have a BC scholarship. Campus jobs are also very good in our college, placement training is incredible. In our college, separate faculty are allotted for our campus placement, they train us very well for placement.

Campus Life :

In our college they will conduct lots of events, we all participate in the annual fest. they maintain a separate for journals, all subject books are available in our college library. We can see journals in our library. All classrooms are very neat. Our college will conduct lots of sports events, we maintain separate clubs for each and every activity.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
