Remarks :

I have applied for a master in management studies (HR). I have not availed of any quota. The criteria for admission was based on a common test for all the candidates and the top 60 students were selected. After the selection list, students were called for counselling, documents verification and registration process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because my interest lies in the same field. The faculties in our department are highly qualified and experienced in this field. They are very supportive and motivating. Even the way they teach makes concepts easy to understand. The exams conducted by the university are completely based to check the basic knowledge about the subject, if your basics are clear you can easily crack the exams.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

From the second last semester, students are eligible to apply for placements. 80% of students get a job during placements. I want to start my own business from scratch. Therefore for the first few years, I want to gain experience in a particular field then build my own platform further.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is perfectly fine. There are few scholarships which students could get like merit based scholarship, scholarship for low income students etc. One can search for part time job on campus.

Campus Life :

Annually we have two fests that are abhivyanjana and shouryoutasab. Abhivyanjana is a cultural fest and shouryoutasab is a sports fest. Both the fest encourages students to participate in different curriculum activities other than studies to build students personality. Other than this we have few fests which are conducted by some departments like synergy etc. There are different music club, dance club, theatre and drama club, sports club in our university. Our library has all kinds of journal and magazine.

Hostel Facilities :

This is the best part of our university, it provides a single seater room per student with all the furniture in it like bookshelf, bed, almirah, table, chair, bulbs, LAN etc. The mess has comparatively better food than other universities. The mess provides 4 times meal per student.

Hostel Fee : INR 115000 per year

MBA Agri business:Fee, Scope and Future Opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of agribusiness because like after BSc in agriculture you can go for MSc in agriculture or MBA in agribusiness. I don't want to prepare for Ph.D. in the government sector so there is a better scope of an MBA in the private sector rather than an MSc in agriculture. Another reason for doing MBA is placement. The placement ratio of MBA students is better than m.sc students and salaries are also good. Another reason is in the private sector and MBA degree holders will get better promotions than average MSc degree holders. On my campus, there are 46 students in MBA agribusiness and 7 to 80% of them will surely get a minimum package of 350000 and a maximum package of 8 lacs. The guest faculty of MBA agribusiness is quite good. There are some teachers who are not as good as others but there is a 100% guarantee of course completion. Semester exams are not quite easy or too difficult if you will focus a little bit on your studies you will easily get pass. Semester exams are delayed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trimester exam was there and it is pretty difficult to pass and have very good projects to work on plus the faculty is very good for finance. I am fortunate to be here. All the faculty is doctorate who are teaching plus have a very wide range of practical experience and links at big companies. The faculty is approachable. The college is very regular in respect of course and exam schedule. The course provides in-depth knowledge and exposure to students to real-life problems.

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
