Remarks :
I joined GBU because it is a semi-government college. It has a very good infrastructure. Also so close to my hometown. For admission to GBU, you must have passed its own exam conducted by College or you must have given JEE. The minimum marks should be 50% above in all fields. On the counselling, day student must have their 10th and 12th certificates and all their documentaries.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BTECH in electronics and communications because the ECE branch is very good for every field. The teachers are good but are very few. Faculty members are more here who only copy-paste notes on the blackboard to teach. The qualification is good for higher-level teachers. But faculty teachers are so poor in teaching. The exams are not so difficult if you study.
Placement Experience :
I have no idea about placements. I am in my 2nd year but haven't got any plans for placements. The percentage of students getting placements are so low. You have to do all thing on your own. College only provides placements for toppers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am a student of the SC category so my academic fees are just 26000 per semester. The fees of General category student is 52000 per semester. You can get a scholarship too if your parent's income is below 2 lakh.
Campus Life :
You can get all the books from the college library only. Our college library is so huge and it has every book that we need. There are so many clubs like photography club, dance club, singing club, cricket club.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are so big. One student got one room separated. It is also good for us to study. No disturbance but the very bad thing about hostels are their timing. Boys can go out any time they want but at the same time girls, timing is 6 pm. We can't go out and can't even get in our hostel without our parent's permission. Boys have no rules for a hostel.
