Remarks :
I asked a lot of people, including my relatives about a good institute in Jaipur and most of them suggested Poornima University because it is certified as 'Great Place to Study' and is among the best private universities in Rajasthan. I applied here through the online admission portal along with my CAT scores, previous academics marksheets, I also had to pay an application fee of Rs.1200. After being selected on the basis of my scores, I also had to go through a PI round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Through the curriculum, I was able to get the best industry exposure and a nurturing classroom environment, that helped me become a leader of tomorrow. The curriculum was very practical and skill-based. Here, I also got a chance to learn from industry experts and professionals with long years of experience. The faculty members here were very experienced and trained, their teaching methods were very unique and motivating. I am still in contact with many professors who always help me with my career-related concerns.
Placement Experience :
PU had the best placement opportunities for us. From well organized pre-placement training to our on-campus placement drives, the placement and training cell here ensured that we get placed in big corporate companies. During our placement drive more than 1300 students from our 2018-20 batch got placed by more than 80 companies that participated in the placement drive. Companies that recruited us include Genpact, Airtel, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Capital First, Capgemini, TATA, Activant Solutions, Athenalogics, etc and the highest offer given out was of 12 lakhs and the average package ranged from 3-5 lakhs.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My fee for 2-year MBA program was amazingly affordable as compared to other institutes at the same level. In first year, I had to pay around 1.15 lakhs and in the second, an amount of 1 lakh was paid by me. The total amount of 2.15 lakh included my my tuition and other charges as well. Several scholarship opportunities were also being given out on the basis of merit and need.
Campus Life :
My life at PU was a mix bag of lot of studies and equally engaging industry activities. The world class infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, experienced faculties, best updated curriculum, and huge library makes it far different from the other institutes. Other than bookish knowledge, here I was able to gain exposure through different platform to showcase my talent with various cultural activities. I could also hone my technical skills through seminars, workshops conducted by different department. We also had compulsory local industry visits during the first year of the program that played a key role in my professional development. Various clubs and committees were there and I personally got enough chances to get involved in extra activities that helped me in my personal and professional improvement.
