Remarks :
The best things about my college is that it's ranking is good, the top recruiters comes for placements and the location with an awesome infrastructure. To take admission in this college, I scrutinized the eligibility criteria and then filled the application form which releases in April month. Then on the basis of MAT score, previous academic record and performance in GD and PI rounds, I got selected for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My college believes in student-centred learning and this is the reason it makes it different from other colleges. Through market-oriented or contemporary curriculum, we are taught with the latest version of knowledge which will be required in corporate sector. Also, we have libraries with latest packages of national and international journals and magazines, collection of various books, research reports related to the subjects of management. In addition to this, the faculty members play important roles in imparting quality education, the professional experience of the environment they had worked before. Moreover, the academic background of mostly faculties hold degree of MBA, PhD, M.Phil from leading institutions like IISc (Bangalore) IITs, and IIMs.
Placement Experience :
The placement rate of my college is 99% and the top most recruiters that visit for on-campus selection are Bandhan Bank, Centrum Capital Direct, ICICI securities, Extramarks Education and many others. The highest package offered is 11 LPA and 7 LPA has been offered as an average package.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The total fee is 5.7 lakh but I paid only 2.7 lakh in the the first year and 2 lakh in the second year. Since, my college has scholarship provision of Rs. 50000 for those belonging to Uttarakhand and the another is merit based in which Rs 100000 is lessened from the program fee. So, I availed the merit based scholarship and got concession of 1 lakh. Also, the facility of educational loan is available in my college through various private and public sector banks.
Campus Life :
The campus life at IBSD is so happening as extra and co-curricular activities like cultural meets, sports meet, games, skits and play, quizz competitions, industrial visits are organised every year. And the best part was that last year, I participated in quiz competition, and I won as I keep myself updated with all the incidents and news happening in and around us. Apart from this, weekly yoga session, Fresher's party, Farewell Party and important days are also celebrated in the college campus. The infrastructure of my college is best as it has libraries, sport complex, seminar halls, computer labs, canteen and other facilities as well.
Admission :
Yes, after I got selected on the basis of MAT score and past academic record, I faced both GD and PI rounds where a random topic for discussion was given to the our group of approx 12-15 students. Also, when I cleared the GD round, I was called individually for PI round where my personality, communication skills were judged and questions from what I studied previously and situational questions were asked.
