Remarks :
The college in which I am pursuing BE is rated among the top Institutes of our state. Moreover it is the top minority college in terms of education and skill development and it also offered me free seat based on my rank in eamcet. The college is well equipped with all the modern labs of computer, electric, mechanical etc. It has also got decent placements as the previous years highest pay package was 25 lpa. The average placement of college also falls around 6-7 lpa including all the branches which is quite good for a tier 3 college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course for every semester is well framed according to the needs of the industry which makes the students learn the things that are required to excel in outside world.I had opted for the IT course as it is having huge demand in Hyderabad. The placement are also quite good for CS/IT branches over other branches. The student faculty ratio is also decent as every teacher gives equal attention on each children. The faculty is also well qualified with most of them having phd degrees. The exams are mostly conducted on the mid semester basis with 2 internal exams followed by end semester exams. The difficult level of the question paper is mostly moderate to tough. But the criteria for passing exams is relaxed with majority marks obtained only from college internal exams which leave less work to be done in externals to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
There are not many big mnc companies that visit our campus for offering internships. It is mostly the students who by themselves look for internships outside of the campus. There are very few students who get internship opportunities from college. Most companies that offer internships includes service now, Infosys, TCS etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure internal the college increased the amount per year from rs. 85000 to rs. 110000, a year after my batch. But thankfully the governments offer scholarships for the convener quota students which is free of cost study, whereas other students than the convener need to pay the specified amount of rs. 85000 which is additionally added up by university fees which are rs. 2500 which is to be paid by every student of college irrespective of their quota of admission.
Campus Life :
The life on the campus is fascinating to be part of. There are a lot of other activities to do apart from class academics. There are various student chapter bodies of various departments that are managed by a set of students and faculty of the college. They help you to enhance the extra skills you require that are currently in full demand. The events like workshops, seminars, hackathons are organised regularly to test skill of the students. Other amenities and sports facility is decent enough as we have access to different kinds of sports with grounds and courts available to play in both indoor and outdoors. The library is also well maintained with thousands of books on various subjects present and also having a digital library with fair internet speeds.
