M S Patel Institute of Management Studies, known as FMS- Baroda, was established in1984 in the city of Vadodara. It is run by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda which is well known University since 1949. The institute offers a full-time MBA program, a doctoral Program, and two executive MBA Programs. The institute offers four specialization - Marketing Management, Finance Management, Human Resource Management, and Production and Operations Management. Admission Criteria: Graduate with 50% marks in aggregate, candidate should take and clear CMAT Entrance Exam. Admission Process: Merit Bases Admission process conduct through ACPC, Gujarat on. ( Which is Base on CMAT entrance Exam Score )

Course Curriculum Overview :

FMS-Baroda offers four Different core specialization of Master of Business Administration (MBA) which are Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Production and Operation Management. For Each specialization, FMS-Baroda has 5 permeant Faculty and more than 15 External Faculty which all are industry Professionals, Financial Professionals, and professional trainers. FMS-Baroda has audiovisual Classes, computer classes, and an auditorium which become helpful for professional and advance way of study. The course includes four semesters, one summer internship program, two contemporary issue projects, and one grand project in the two-year full-time MBA program.

Internships Opportunities :

Every student has to do compulsory 3 months Summer Internship in any Field and one Grand project from Respective Field. Many National and Local companies regularly came here for internships and grand projects from them only a Few companies came with a stipend which are around 5000 to 10000 Rupees per Months. few company also give PPO offer to the students. For 2021 batch very few company like ICICI Bank, MWH, Peacock solar etc. came for internship due to COVID-19. FMS- Baroda has one placement committee (group of students and Teachers) which is responsible for all placement and internship and Grand project company.

Placement Experience :

A Few companies Regularly visit for Placement, internship, and Grand project. overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Faculty Members here is Marinating good placement record except 2021 due to COVID-19. Every year around 70% to 80% are almost placed from campus interviews with the average salary package varies around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. the highest package varies around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. In our batch top recruiters are HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, TCS, Torrent Pharma, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. Most of the company are , in general offers Marketing and its related profile with few offers HR related Profile. very Few company came here for core Finance and operation related Jobs. FMS-Baroda has one Group of Students and Teachers which called Placement committee which handle all activity regarding Placements. All placements are depend on alertness and dedication Team of Placement committee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A few companies regularly visit campus for placement and internship. overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Faculty Members here are maintaining a good placement record with an average salary package that varies around 4 LPA to 5 LPA.in our batch top recruiters are HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, TCS, Torrent Pharma etc. For the Summer internship program and grand project, various different sector companies come here with an average stipend of 5000 to 10000 Rupees per month. The cost of doing an MBA in FMS-Baroda is very cheapest as compare to other private and well-known colleges. The Maharaja Sayajirao University has different financial scholarships for different quotas.

Campus Life :

The faculty has a well-equipped library which is a knowledge and research center for students.it is well stocked with more than 13000 titles in all fields of management, a subscription to more than 31 National and international journals and periodicals, Besides 10000 online journals via EBSCO host. Students has also access to Smt. Hansa Mehta Library. FMS- Baroda has a common University sports Facility for the overall personality development of students. FMS- Baroda has Management Student Forum - MSF (Group of Students) which conduct different Events, Guest lecture, sport Events, Seminars Workshops, Different Activities, and Annual Flagship Event called 'YUVANTAS'. MSF also runs FMS club which is the social media club of FMS-Baroda. FMS-Baroda has all classrooms with Projectors, Speakers, and Microphone Facility. For Conduct Different Stage Event FMS- Baroda has one Auditorium with more than 60 capacity.

Hostel Facilities :

The Maharaja Sayajirao University has more than 12 Boys Hostel and 3 Girls Hostel. which all have good infrastructure with all basic facility considering fees which is only 7000 Rupees per Annum. there are availability of all sport equipment in hostel and they also organize sport Event and annual Function in Hostel. Every Hostel Campus Has its own Mess and canteen Facility with very hygienic and cheapest food serve considering Rupees 40 per Dish. Vadodara is very Big city which also has Samras Hostels, Privet Hostels and PG Facility with very Reasonable Price.

A good career setter college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The out carricular activities are also present in the college and the students are participating in the activities as well. Teachers need to work on the mode of teaching like the classes timing are not fixed and some teachers need to work on the subject properly. The time duration is very low with exams and some exams are continuously going on in the college.

Placement Experience:

Narayana Business School provides guaranteed 100% placements to all its enrolled students. After 1st year the students of both mna and PGDM go through the internships opportunities to gain hands on experience of real corporate world. And the students get eligible for placements after their 4 th trisemester in case of PGDM and around their 3rd semester in case of MBA. The highest package of NBS goes between 15-18 lacs and the average goes from 6-8 lacs, based on the companies and positions.

Placement Experience:

After completing the summer internship the placement season starts at the campus which is roughly around 3rd sem. Many reputable companies visit the campus like TCS, Adani, Vodafone, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Torrent, Federal Bank and many more... This year Federal Bank has offered the highest package to student of around 12 lac and hired 2 students. The average package CTC would be around 5 lac and many job roles are being offered according to the company's profile but there are limited companies that come in the field of HR. The placement rate is around 90% and if you don't get selected then you can apply from outside on your own to the companies.

Here at NBS, many students get a chance to get PPO ( Pre Placement Offer). students can seat for the placement drive from trisem 4 onwards. for the student batch of 2020-2022, the highest placement is 17.5 LPA and the average placement is 7.5 LPA.
