Entrance Preview :
I had pass my SSC with 82% and opted for Diploma course in IT. Nirma University is one of the best college in Gujarat offering Engineering courses. I always wanted to go for IT field as its grooming like anything these days. The admission procedure is through ACPC (Admission c omission for engineering colleges in Gujarat).
Course Curriculum Overview :
Nirma university offers the best course structure, the time table for the semester is pre planned and given to students well in advance thus they can prepare accordingly. The course is selected in such a way that it covers most important subjects and topics.
Placement Experience :
As i mentioned Nirma is one of the best college in state and country the best industries come for campus placement. There is a special placement cell which looks after the placement procedure and they try to get placement for all students.
College Events :
In our college we used to celebrate all festivals along with that we used to have regular technical events and competitions. Also there were various clubs and association run by students, they also organised events and functions. there is a orientation program in starting of every year for both parents and students. There is a big convocation ceremony held every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees is to be paid semester wise. The fees is reasonable in comparison to facilities provided.
Campus Life :
Nirma has best campus, canteen and friendly environment. In extra curricular there are activities like seminars on various technical/ non technical topics,expert lecture, robotics seminar, Student clubs and yoga classes are available. Also sports ground and gym are available for students. Canteen with tasty and hygienic food. Labs and libraries are great.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a separate boys and girls hostel but only available for masters students (MBA, MCA) but there are many hostels and pg's available nearby with good facilities. Hostels and pg's are clean and provide all basic facilities and are available in all price range.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have a alumni association, which organize a function on yearly basis and all ex students are invited for same. This is the best practice to get in touch with senior students and make network.
Exam Structure :
There are tutorials and weekly exams along with lectures. And regular lab sessions which are always interesting and fun. Weekly exams and labs doesn't make hectic day in fact they help alot in preparation for final exams and make the concepts much clear.
Faculty :
The facilities are best in their fields. They are highly qualified yet humble, always ready to help their students in all aspects.
