The half truth

Remarks :

The admission can be done in two ways writing the PGCET entrance or getting a management seat which almost 9 lakhs with benefits but never join this way because all your will go into the drain. I choose this college as an alternative to new horizon Bangalore in the counselling process but I was allotted with aims. Students can't expect infrastructure as it is a small campus which is built like a small complex with classrooms located at two buildings and a small playground in which sport can be played. Students use it for breaks and other activities. Academics are good but it's really difficult to cope because if you look for good experience and education inside a big campus this is not a college. I had to join this college because I had entered the counselling process which specifies I should not refuse the allotment this was really hard for me at that time. I had sacrificed all football activities I do normally.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I wanted to do marketing, exams were like cycle test and pre-finals and the semester exams. Teaching is excellent and all teachers do their best to influence students except a few. This Covid season some of the good ones have left the college. The faculty is highly qualified. The first semester and second you not in any specialization, you choose a specialization for the 3rd and 4th semester. Subjects are common commerce subjects which you see In B.Com, BBM, BBA.

Internships Opportunities :

They just share the invitation details for the internship application. It is really dull and not at all helpful. We MBA students have to complete two projects for the 3rd and 4th semester which is a waste of money and time. It really is so frustrating and useless.

Placement Experience :

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for placements and internship. I wish to get placed for a reasonable salary before I get my degree. Almost all the students who take part throughout the placement process somehow get placed. 3 LPA and 4 LPA is common. Other higher packages are very hard to get selected for.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is campus recruitment with a lot of companies coming forward to recruit. The fees are a very high amount. It cost 1lakh and a half for a merit seat and almost. 9.5 lakh for management seat. A lot of friends who are outside Karnataka are facing difficulty paying this hefty sum.

Campus Life :

The library is well equipped. Classrooms have a projector and computer system. Sports activities are nil because there is no field or playground. Clubs and social groups present but that does really change the mood. The atmosphere is very dull.

Interview Experience :

PGCET examinations are common entrance exams for MBA course in Karnataka. If acquire a rank that qualifies for the college. You will be allocated the seat according to your caste allotment and marks are important but the caste allotment in the counselling process brings a big impact.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
