Remarks :

I chose St Mary's Group of Institutions as my college because it is in Hyderabad which is an IT hub and for a person who has scored less marks in class 12th,this was a very good opportunity to get admission in a good college. The admission process here is very agile and the main point because of which the college is good is the academics,teachers give individual attention to all the students unlike many other colleges. Teachers are very qualified and helpful. The admission in my college happens through MCET exam. The only problem with the college is minor management issues when admissions start flowing. Apart from all this the placement opportunities offered here are decent and the environment is really positive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Btech in Computer Science branch. I chose this course because of ky personal preference to become a developer. The faculty is the best part of the college, maximum of them are PHDs and are really helpful. Teachers giver individual attention to each student. The studying environment is so peaceful and positive. The teachers come and leave on time and do the full utilisation of the hour,after each semester there are feedback forms for all the teachers and we can openly write our reviews that are considered.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 68500 per year

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are decent, there are jobs for the core as well as the non core. The package of the college is not high as such but the students with littlle effort can definitely get jobs. The college made us register in TASK which has improved the placement opportunities.

College Events :

The campus life at the college is fun. There are different kind of cultural fest, annual fest and Shivaji fest. All of these fests all full of joy and enthusiasm. The college is never bothered about the financial inputs they have to give to make a festival or fest great. The library is one of the best places in the college, it is so big and beautiful and All kinds of books,even extras can be found there. The sports is also a major concern in the college, 2 big football and cricket grounds and basketball ground. The infrastructure of the college is to die for, whose beauty is enhanced being between the mountains.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is the minimal as compared to other good private colleges. Placement opportunities are decent,my seniors got of software developers with a stipend of 4-5 lakhs per anum. There are scholarship programs are given by the government to the local Telangana students. The local students pay around 5000 after scholarship. Which is quite affordable for a course like Btech.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 2/3/4/8/10 sharing rooms and the cost varies. The meals are included for all. The meals are really good and filling. The menu is not fixed maximum times but there are different varieties to try from. The hostel registration takes place with the college registration itself. Hostel is always clean and sanitized, there is laundry facility provided and the wardens are cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Courses are very interesting and very helpful for our future endeavours. The Courses like gender studies, environmental science, fundamentals of music, dance studies, English literature and many other course give wider perspective of the electives and help to develop a multidisciplinary thinking capacity for students and develop a good idea of knowledge on all spheres. The social science students can also take elective from other science departments like maths, physics, geology, biology and etc... The NEP is implemented fully in the campus and it helps the students in overall development. The timing of classes for undergraduate students starts at 8am and ends at 6pm . But it differs to the course selection and a student maximum have 5 hours of class a day.

We are eligible for the campus placements for fourth year starting and the placements will be in high and package are too good. The college holds a record of getting highest placed students in the state. Coming to highest package is 930000 and average is 600000-700000.The top companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, TCS is offering highest package and giving placements. The students should maintain around 70% in academics to get a good placement. My plans to get placed in good company and Explore myself.
