Remarks :
The courses offered were are very specific and domain pertaining. The admission for me was through the exam held by this college in April. As a bad aspect, the fees are high. This was the only place ranking good in this course I chose after ISM- Dhanbad and IIT Bombay.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was very domain specific and aligned with my interests for my dream job. I don't have an exact figure but the ratio is somewhere near 1:90. Most of the faculties have PhDs in the domain they are teaching. The exams were held on the same dates which were provided in the yearly calendar and also the tests were quite difficult and needed personal effort in studies to get good grades.
Internships Opportunities :
The companies offering internships are ONGC, Reliance, and many more according to their needs. Also, the projects include domain related tasks on the field as well as off the field. And to sum it up the internship are mostly
Placement Experience :
The students are eligible for placements in the last 2 semesters of the course. The companies that visit the campus for my particular domain are ONGC, Reliance, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Shell, Exxon Mobil, Cairn and many more, The no of offers made vary according to need. There is 100% placement and my plans after my degree are to pursue a job to gain some experience and then do my higher studies from abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees hike policy states that the fees go up by 2% every year. The cost of my course is 15,84,000 rupees to be precise. There is a scholarship given on basis of your CGPA at the end of a year and also there is one intern offered to each one of us in the 3rd year of our course.
Campus Life :
There are two annual fests every year: Ignite(technical Fest) and UURJA(social fest). All books prescribed to us are available in the library as e-books and as hard copies. There are smart classes with e-learning means and also any other amenities that are required. There are sports & extracurricular activities all around the year and there are national and state level competitions conducted to enhance the skills of the players.
Interview Experience :
There was a seminar which gave us an overview of the college and different types of courses offered by the college and also there was the interaction between me and alumni of my branch. Also, there was a financial policy round for people who wanted to attend it
