NMIMS Bangalore review

Remarks :

I chose this college because NMIMS has a brand value associated to it and is a reputed college well known for best placements. The college has nice faculty who are well experienced in their fields and are well qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is nice and holistic that covers the all-round development of students and nurture the students from the grass-roots level. Hence I made this decision to join the MBA course in this college.

Internships Opportunities :

I got an internship opportunity through the college itself. The process was nicely and smoothly conducted and almost all the students got placed. The companies that visit college are also nice and reputed offering good packages.

Placement Experience :

The college placements are good. Last year the average package was 8 lakhs and max package went up to 15 lakh. Given the college is new the placements are very nice and will only get better in the coming years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very nice and is made keeping students need in mind. They don't hike fees often and also provide fee assistance and scholarship to students who are from weaker sections of society.

Campus Life :

The campus is full of modern amenities and facilities and is quite hi-tech. There are certain clubs and societies in the college which makes college life nice and happening. Overall the campus life is good.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are good although the mess can be a bit better in terms of food taste. I would recommend students to go for hostels only if they can't find any viable alternative for the same. PG are also available nearby which can also be opted for.

Interview Experience :

I had a GD round wherein a topic was given to have a discussion for 10 mins after that I had a PI round all the rounds were conducted online due to pandemic but the entire experience was smooth and was nicely conducted.

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by this college isn't the best in the industry but not bad either. Ine can expect anywhere between 6-16 lakhs per annum packages from the college. But searching for your own seems to be better as the highest package received in the college was for 48 lakh per annum by a student who went through the placement procces own his own. When it comes to percentage of student placement about 80% of the students get placed where the other 20% are students who wish to start their own entrepreneurship or pursue higher studies. If gettimg a placement is your goal, you'll definitely get placed from the college. I plan on searching for placement on my own and get into a good company.
