Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test acronym as TANCET is conducted by TNSF - Consortium i.e. Consortium of Self - Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, An internship is a job training for white collar and professional careers. Internships for professional careers are similar in some ways but not as rigorous to apprenticeships for professions, trade and vocational jobs.

Hostel Facilities :

On-campus student residence Halls of Residence for men and women students are available separately. The men’s residence can accommodate 500 students and the women’s residence can accommodate 200 students. There is a separate block for First year students. Visiting doctors take care of the health problems of the inmates.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

NITT MCA

Placement Experience:

For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.

Remarks:

The infrastructure is good, but it would have been better if the intake in the college would have been less. VIT has decent laboratories and equipment. VIT rules, however, do not allow girls to stay after seven so they have to manage their work accordingly. Faculty : The faculty members are good. There could have been an improvement in the way that the courses have been designed and offered though. Many new courses are added to the curriculum as well to keep the students in touch with the recent trends in their respective branch. VIT, Chennai organizes two events like Vibrance and Techno-VIT. The campus is well-connected to airport and railway station too.
