Remarks :

It is one of the oldest colleges that are there especially in Tier 2 and Delhi. Almost all the companies have an alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad working in middle or senior level management. IMT Ghaziabad has a strong alumni network which allows it to bring most of the top companies on campus, even though they have a huge batch size, still, every student can get placements from within the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is perfectly designed based on the recent trend and demand in the market, students are provided all the facilities and exposure which makes them ready and prepare for their future endeavours. In one year there are three semesters taking place, throughout the semester there are quizzes, assignments and presentations that students have to submit. Faculties are really helpful, most of them have prior work experience in top companies which is quite helpful for students.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are a compulsary part of an MBA curriculum therefore each and every student get an internship from within the campus, very few opt-outs of the process if they get a better opportunity outside the campus. Top companies visit campus to hire the best talents. Many students get a PPO offer from the companies if they perform well in their Internships. The average stipend is somewhere between 25k-35k per month and the highest is 1.5 lacs per month.

Placement Experience :

Placement are great in IMT, in comparison to most of the Tier 2 colleges, IMT has the best placements, even after having a batch size of 600+ students, it is still able to place all of them and that too with a package which is best as per industry standards. The average package is somewhere between 12-15 LPA and the highest can go above 30 LPA. Almost all the students get a placement from campus, very opt out or get a placement from outside of the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees in IMT Ghaziabad is close to 20 lacs, it is at par with most of the other B-Schools. Financial aid is made provided to all the students who are eligible for the same, people or students who are from the EWS category are also provided with scholarships given that they perform well consistently in their academics. Based on the services and facilities offered and keeping placements in view, fees are reasonable as all top premier Institutes have similar fees.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is really good, IMT has a huge campus with a playground, grasses and trees everywhere. In terms of exposure and learning the college provides an experience which is quite enriching for a student, throughout the year students are participating competition and various cultural and extracurricular activities which give them the right amount of exposure.

Interview Experience :

In IMT there is a WAT, Case Discussion round and a PI. For case discussion you should have really good communication skills, they are looking for people who are more assertive, for PI you need to be thorough with your subject knowledge and keep track of recent news, especially business news.

Placement Experience:

Campus are good. But in my opinion if 70 students are in the class. I think all have some capabilities and they receive their time for every action because all response time is not same , and sometimes fast is not good sometimes slow is the standard..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm the person having the background in finance. So yeah the course name itself attracted me as it was MBA(Financial Management). Frankly speaking the course was more theoretical, I've learned mostly from internships and self learning courses for the real worls rather than from faculty or curricuum. The Curriculum needs to be more practical should the skills required for real world. and the teaching method should be changed from lecturership to Intercative sessions such as brainstorming etc Exam comes after 4-5 months and the diffculty leavel was not so much high as they were more of theoretical nature.

Admission:

By clearing the entrance exam of LU. You can also take direct admission here but I have given the entrance exam then I choose this college. Because the overall results of this college are excellent. One of my friends suggested me this college as she was the alumni of the college. The placement record was also very good. These are some of the factors.
