Remarks :

I completed my 12th in the year of pandemic, and the admission to any college was going slowly. I filled form for Delhi university for merit-based courses and in the first cutoff only I got my name for Eng Hons. At Shivaji college, I browsed many sites and especially the reviews of collegedunia. I chose this and now I am satisfied with my decision. The faculty of the College is awesome, I am a part of various societies here. The fashion, dance, theatre and Entrepreneurship societies are best. Talking about the library then I can assure you that it's the best among other colleges of Delhi University. For economically weaker students, the college provides fee concession as well. Seniors are very friendly here. The crowd of college is from various parts of the country. I am enjoying my life here and I can assure you of your enjoyment of your college life. The campus' infrastructure is wonderful on its own with many gardens surrounding it. It has its own huge sports complex.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty for my course is very awesome. They are well experienced and most of the teachers are either PhD holders or Ma with many years of experience. They are ready to help you at any time of day. You will never have to face any problem regarding the unavailability of faculties. The college maintains a very good teacher: student ratio with a balance over not an over numbered class and neither less crowd.

Internships Opportunities :

This all depends on what all opportunity is provided to you by the placement cell. The internship offered can be both on-campus and off-campus it all depends on your performance and the decision of the placement cell.

Placement Experience :

For my courses, there are very fewer campus placements but for other courses, the college has many offers made from various sources for the students of other courses. The placement cell of Shivaji works over, placement and internship issues and interests of the students. The placement cell is actively involved in providing students with various opportunities for their financial gains.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee of 18,650 is not very much as compared to any other college. And attaining a degree at the University of Delhi is ought to be for such a fee structure. But still for economically weaker students, who are facing some financial issues, have the option of attaining fee concession. The placement cell of Shivaji college is very efficient and regularly being some internship opportunities for people.

Campus Life :

Vibrations are the annual fest of college that invites all of the best celebrities. It also has hosted Jubin nautical for once. Library, as described, is the best among the other colleges of Delhi university having all sorts of the book of every field of studies. The classroom is ambience is very cool and impressive with almost 5-6 classrooms in the all of nature in form of cottage rooms there are many LTR rooms. Talking about sports, then the sports complex of Shivaji is a huge ground accompanying as a practice arena for many cricket academy with a lawn tennis court, basketball court and many other games. There are almost 10+ societies in the college ranging from cultural society having 7 sub societies to finance and investment society.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.
