Remarks :
My college is the best college in the city according to infrastructure, education, sports, freedom,staff, low fees and all. We are always welcome our juniors to our college. It is very important to noted that ragging is totally banned in our college. Totally it is a nice college in the city.
Entrance Preview :
I didn't wrote any entrance exam. I've studied well in my secondary schooling and scored 1173/1200 marks and a cut off mark of 199.25 and i have got a seat in mechanical engineering in this awesome college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This stream of engineering (i.e. my department mechanical engineering) is a evergreen department why because means we can get job for sure, not only job the knowledge obtained are too good enough to sustain in the society and i love the course very much.
Internships Opportunities :
No, my college is not providing internship for anyone so far. We hope that for the coming years the internship option may be included for the improvement of student skills.
Placement Experience :
This is a good question for me i think because now i am going for the job interview in my college itself my college providing intra- college job opportunities by CUIC(Center for university industry collaboration) the additional director of cuic Mr.senthilkumaran bring more than totally more than 150 companies for various department for the campus recruitment we thank him a lot.
College Events :
In our college there are 3 celebrations and few events are conducted for every year celebrations are: kurukshetra, techofes, agni events are: pinnacle(for mechanical engineering), itrix( for informational technology department) etc. About techofes is a big intra college cultural celebration in will various college are participating in various events and and award for their skills this techofes conducted in the end of February.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For telling about the fee structure and all, first of the thing this is purely government college so don't need to worry about the expensive fees and all the fees are quite feasible i think from my knowledge we are paying only 65000 to 70000 for the whole one year for both college and hostel for the hostel 40000 and for the college 20000 so the day scholar student have to pay only 20000 for a whole year and also no extra fees are asked by the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, my college giving so many scholarships so far for example- Anna award Rs 10000, Chief minister award Rs 3000, Foundation for excellence scholarship Rs 30000.
Campus Life :
We are having totally 10000 students 50% male and 50% female for the extracurricular activities we are having 400 m play ground that is enough to play 4 cricket matches at a time i love to play cricket in our play ground we are having so many labs related to our departments for me i am having central workshop. ANSYS lab, catia lab, vibration lab, cad lab, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college we are having 14 men hostels and 10 women hostels so far for each year a student have to go far a new hostel which will be allotted by the hostel office the girls and boys hostels are separated by walls. Telling about the mess, we are having 4 mess so far Senior non veg mess, senior veg mess, ladies mess, junior mess although the giving no so tasty food it is enough healthier to eat. My point of view senior veg is good enough to eat.
Alumni/Alumna :
We are having a very Big network of alumni our alumni give as the way to crack exams and job interview and all to us. It is to be noted that our 1985 batch alumni conducted us a mock interview as a trial for the campus interview.
Exam Structure :
As for the exam structure we are having two semester exams for a year so totally 4*2=8 semester exams for the external marks the semester exam marks is considers for 50 marks and for the internal marks they conducting a internal assessment exams for every 35 days(totally 3 internal exams) out of which best two will be considered for total of 50 marks. So totally 50+50=100 marks will be considered for the grading and all.
Faculty :
All my faculties in my department are very talented professors from various field of knowledge they taught me a lot both related to subjects as well related to society. And also they taught me how to sustain in the society and workplace for a long time. My head of the department Mr.Mohan, P.H.D,is a very talented professor from Tamil Nadu and i like him so much.
