Remarks :

Overall Andhra university college life is good except the fact that it's maintenance is very low and neatness is not at all up to the mark college management also not completely responsive as it is a government university.

Entrance Preview :

I took Eamcet exam, and i scored 86/160 and i got 10,311 rank. I opted for Andhra university because it is one of the top most university in Andhra Pradesh and as my aim is to become a civil servant i thought studying in Andhra university helps me get near to my aim by the help of its eminent library and professors.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am studying b.tech geo-informatics branch. Its curriculum is excellent as it touches all the concepts that are required to pursue research in the higher fields. For example, we have oceanography subject in 3rd year 1st semester which will be the fundamental and base for any student who want to do research in oceanography and even the elective subjects are particularly concerned about the core subjects there is also a free elective in 3rd year 1st semester and 4th year 2nd semester which we have to go to other department and pursue a subject there.

Internships Opportunities :

I don’t have any much knowledge about our college internship programs but Andhra university provides excellent facilities for research scholars and generally the stipend for them varies from 5000/- INR to 15,000/- INR their experience will be purely based upon the professor or guide under whom they are pursuing the research or internship.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements were not up to the mark as it should be for a state's most top university this year(2016),till now wipro and infosys came for campus placements and the results will be out very soon the campus placement coordinator is assuring that IBM is going to come this year on December but we don't know how far this is true. and the package is usually between 3.2 to 3.5 lakhs per annum.

College Events :

Different departments in Andhra university conducts different types of fests like technical fests and cultural fests the fests that are conducted by each department will be vast enough for the nearby college students to attend and participate but management of fests is not up to the mark.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The Andhra university fee structure is the least fee structure in entire Andhra Pradesh it's fee structure is 10,000 per annum and that too with an option of fee-reimbursement from our government and even our hostel fee is also less compared to other college hostel fees varying from 20,000 to 30,000 per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to my knowledge Andhra university will not offer any scholarship or loan facility for any student but they do provide a good amount of stipend for research scholar students.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is nearly 50:50 in some of the classes, the girls strength is more than the boys. gender diversity is not much shown in many matters but there is one in some departments and some things extracurricular activities such as sports are conducted every year and inter-molars also will be held every year labs are equipped with good apparatus.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels in Andhra university are very nearer to pathetic condition each room will be shared by too persons. and the mess food is bad in maximum of the time. one good thing about hostels is that it provides wi-fi facility each student has to pre-register to obtain wi-fi facility.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Andhra university is not ragging prohibited college still in some of the areas of college ragging is going on but after freshers seniors will be the most useful persons to the juniors more than their faculty members.

Exam Structure :

The mid sessional examinations and the lab internal examinations timetable was quite good and effective but the final semester examinations were a hectic to every student as there will be no gap in between examinations alternative examinations were not considered in Andhra university there won’t be even a 24 hour gap between an exam's ending and an other exam's starting time.

Faculty :

Andhra university's faculty are one of the top most professors in our state but in our geo engineering department at present there are only 3 professors that is a bit problem for us. out of those 3 professors one is head of the department so maximum of our classes are taken by research scholars associate and assistant professors but the standards of faculty members especially professors is very much high.

The main factor joining Nri institute of technology is its motto for student is personalized learning. They help us to learn through innovative methods and techniques and also their facilities they provide to the students are very proper.

Placement Experience:

Internships, interactive sessions are held by college management as a part of placement process and the students are provided with trusted placements. Companies like infosys, accenture, and other reputed companies recruit the students into their companies and offer a minimum salary package starting from 4 lakhs per annum.

Remarks:

The campus is provided with hostel facilities, and mess facilities are also available for hostel students and day scholars as well. All the labs are well-equipped with modern technology devices. The campus building has good infrastructure, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. These factors made me want to join in this college.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good and for computer science its the best. The CSE department has the most placed percentage compared to other departments. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. All types of companies like top MNCs and startups, visit the campus to hire students.

Almost everyone will leave the college with a well sophisticated job. Many companies like tech mahindra, infosys, sutherland,cab gemini and many other named campanies visit our college and the students were trained so well that they will leave the college with a secured job. My college journey

Remarks:

The college has a good campus life with lots of activities. It also promotes equality amongst the students. It has collaborated with top companies for the placements. It is overall at a growing stage and I know this college has a lot of potential.

Admission:

The admission procedure is same as it is for other engineering college. I took up JEE main exam in the year 2015 and qualifying the exam, I applied for the admission in the college. It also accepts GATE score.
