The factors are mainly less tution fee and good faculty and placement statistics to get good job. Our college is nearby from me and also from get help from Senior students and having for anti ragging community so I choose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is under of MAKUAT. Our college has 5 streams. According to me CSE and ECE is best of all stream. Each stream has 63 students. Our college has to for syllabus of makuat as it is not autonomous. We have to go through totally 8 semester. In less time we have to get prepared our lesson for exam. Each sem we have been to prepared 4 continuous evaluation test. Academic and Faculty - our college faculty is better than other government engineering college. Our college has new academic building for getting new admission for only 1 st year students. In each every department HOD behaves with us friendly and helpful. Even our lab equipments are useful and having enough instrument for all of us. Our placement statistics is not so better but 75 % students can get placement on campusing. Not applicable but vocational training is a part of curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
Nothing as I am of 1 st year students I can not apply any internship not for knowledge any about internship. But after 2 nd year students you can apply any various of internship free of cost. You can won scholarship from your internship. But as in our college you don't get opportunity from top company internship. So you have to apply off Campusing internship.But there are a lack of core companies visiting our college.90© students got internships in various companies like DSP, NTPC, Mahindra and other big companies like as Amazon or Microsoft.
Placement Experience :
Most of the students of CSE and ECE and IT department gets placement in TCS digital company. But students other stream like as mechanical or electrical students don't get placement in average salary. So this is not better for on campusing and students can apply for off campusing job. Most of students 75%students are hired for job at TCS, CTS,WIPRO etc. The average salary is above 3.6 lpa per year and highest salary package is 42 lpa. Each year 15%students get opportunity for getting internship from Amazon, Microsoft and Google. Each year 5-10 students get jobs in Google, Microsoft or Amazon or flipkart in higher position.
College Events :
Our campus life is excellent and the best thing about our campus is the existence of senior junior relationship. Our department is equipped with all the instruments required to study for a Bachelor level degree study of all streams.But one problem for top class research facilites are not available. Regarding hostels and LAN connectivity and electricity is provided with spacious rooms. Quality of food is good and for major sports, equipments are available Event- The annual fest of KGEC is known as ESPEKTRO. It is great with night performances from various popular artists like The Local Train, Aditi Singh Sharma etc. It's at this time the students of all years irrespective of being senior, junior work day and night to bring this fest alive. The seniors are very helpful, supportive and friendly. There are many extra curricular activities that happen during the winter months like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Table tennis. Even for only 1 st year students PLEXUX is held and many tech quiz,robotics event,mathematic quiz held on annual event espectro which we are eagare for waiting each year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes you can apply any scholarship facility from our college office room. If you are belonged from poor family you can apply half free or full free tution fee wavier scheme. Even you are from caste you can apply scholarship like as oasis or other like as swami vivekananda merit cum scholarship, National scholarship or gp birla foundation scholarship. If you have topped in exam of your department you must get various prizes from many organized group.
Campus Life :
Our college is in great infrastructure and our college has new building and but our classes held nearby from our campus. Even our labs are very precious and costly for equipments.The central Library in our college is our get opportunity to borrow books whenever we want and return those as in time. Sports facilities are good like as badminton football are best faculty of in our sports faculty. Each team provides a jersey favour of each team captain. Our college is totally fully under cover of LAN connection and high speed wifi even hostel and not for classroom. Equipments in labs are errorless and neat and clean and condition is better than other college.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted hostel. The hostel life is great full to enjoy and not be boring to be stay at there. You can want whatever you want whenever you can receive study material from roommate. Our hostel faculty is better than other government engineering college. Even our hostel has fully wi fi connectivity. In our college each hostel are occupied for each year students Almost 4 hostel (APC,RRR,VC,RBC)are of boys and 1 hostel (PCN) only for girl. The hostel fees are very less and you have to booked early. You have to pay only food charge not for bedding charge or other charge. In each rooms 3 students had stayed and each students has own alhmirah. The food quality of hostel is better than mess or PG. Even each hostel has a canteen for buying fast food.
Admission :
The criteria is to get admission is to get score in wbjee exam. My wbjee general merit rank was 2375
