Remarks :
Best tier-3 college for Muslim minority in Hyderabad, had good placements at the time of my admission, great campus environment and tons of extra curriculars to do in college, also has good oppurtunities for people interested in sports.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Affiliated to Osmania University so syllabus given by them is followed, covers all core subjects required for Computer Science and choice to pick electives in the field of interest in the last 3-4 semesters depending on the branch, not so updated course syllabus had a good amount of lagacy stuff. Academics wise MJCET also has state ranks and Faculties are very good, more than 50% of them with a PhD, makes student to study textbooks, do not allow spoon feeding.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship from own effort not college.Interned at IESot Technologies Pvt Ltd,Software Engineer Intern,20000 monthly stipend,u sed Internshala to apply and land internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
Placements were good earlier but not now, not even mass recruiters are coming to MJCET with placement oppurtunities, no proper placement related staff alotted and no proper management, student who are placed already are still allowed to sit in almost every other opportunity.Incomplete information of off campus recruitments given many times.And the few amount of placement opportunities are mostly for students from CSE,IT and ECE branches.
College Events :
Seminars done by many leader from alot of MNCs. Different college fests held on different occasions like annual day and engineers day and number of hackathons and robotics fests with multiple student bodies having regular monthly fun and learning events.
Fees and Financial Aid :
State and Central scholarship available for students admitted through merit like EAMCET rank.No scholarship for students from management quote.
Campus Life :
Campus consists of a number of colleges each with a different course like Law, D.Ed,MBA,B.Pharm and D.Pharm and multple blocks for different branches for engineering for both bachelors and masters, along with a school and a junior college, so a wide campus on acres of land. Good sports facilities both outdoor and indoor and a gym for sports teams members, take the teams to all possible tournaments. Campus wi-fi allowed after an application with a good reason of why they need it.Huge library with all required text books regularly updated with syllabus and other science journals,a digital library too and peaceful studious environment.All labs fully equipped with multiple blocks just for different labs for different engineering and pharmacy branches and courses.
