Remarks :

I got admission in first cut off. My brother was also in this so I also chose this one. The admission process was simple I went there with my documents and they verified them and gave me admission and give 2 days to pay the fee online. The college has an 11-floor huge new building I think which is biggest in Delhi University. College is full of greenery. The college canteen is good you can have good food in lesser amount. College auditorium is perfectly sized. College life is also good you will be elections here which is quite interesting, fresher's party, fest, and other activities etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I like to study Political Science that's why I choose this course. Faculty is good, teachers are well experienced, their methods are also good with real-life examples. Class tests also happen. Exam level is not that much difficult.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 6254 per year

Placement Experience :

I don't know anything about the placement you dont find any kind of placement in political science honours and I want to do LLB so I don't want any kind of placement political science is base for LLB (Law).

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee system is yearly. For the first year, it was approximately 6500rs and for 2nd year it was 6254rs only. So the fee is not that much high. A student can earn this much with part-time job easily. So you will not have to worry about fees.

Campus Life :

Fresher's party in November month and Fests happen in February month. The library is very big, a lot of books are available there, and the Library is air-conditioned. Ncc is also available, theatre society, music society, Dance society, Eco club.

Being the top college of south campus a good number of companies come for placements in sri venkateswara college, a student gets eligible for placement in 5th semester or third year. Companies which have visitted college are namely, Deloitte, De Shaw, KPMG , Ey And some startups as well. highest package offered this year till now is of 23 LPA for financial research analyst in DeShaw. Average package you can get from sri venakteswara college is around 7 LAKHS PER ANNUM. around 30- 40 % students gets placed every year. I would likely go for my masters after completing bachelors

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum offers to understand how the world works or how India works , also let us know about the philosopers who brought the revolutionary thought to transform the world This curriculum make us aware about the fundamental duties we have, so in real life no one can mistreat us. Also let us know about the policies of the gov so we can take out the benefit in our real life I think the improvement should be more indian philosopers and their philosophy should be included in this curriculum The exams are moderate but they are quite lengthy, so u have to manage that how much time you have to give to per question

Know Hansraj College (DU) with an experience of 3rd year student

Placement Experience:

In the second semester, I was given an interview for an internship within college..that required IT skills that one must possess to avail of such benefits. I'm not sure about it as it is known mostly among commerce students I have heard about a highest package of 18 lakhs and an average of 10 lakhs I will be pursuing an MA in my course and going for civil services.

Great Time At Hansraj!

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Our college has a playground to play sports in any choice of sports can be played be it basketball or badminton. They also have a canteen wherein a nutritious food is available for the students. Also, we provide with medical facilities in case of any mishappening.

Remarks:

Companies like Wi-Fi and labs are well-organised. However, the classrooms are not much good in condition. The library is in good condition, but the sports and medical facilities are low. Labs are available in good condition. The food available in the canteen is not that poor, but its quality is not that good.
