The atmosphere of the college is very friendly and the teachers give at the most important to the students to focus on the studies and carriers by giving the various suggestion that would help the students. They also conduct various events to encourage the student's talent. They understand the students in every possible way and act accordingly on the campus even though by providing the proper rules, ragging is also strictly prohibited inside the campus. The hostel food provided on the campus is average. Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.Com because I wanted to know about the accounting side and it covers most of it including language papers so you can learn various things every year. It can be determined by this a subject will be taken by up to 3 different teachers in a week by dividing various topics. Most of the teacher working here has more than 3 degrees and completed a PhD in their fields and the staff are chosen by the top-level experienced teachers and by Head of the department and correspondent. There will be 2 internals exams and semester exams every 6 months the difficulty level of the exams are medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are offered with and outside and inside the campus. The companies are based on the departments for internship mostly for B.Com students it would be working under a "CHARTED ACCOUNTANT". If anyone would like to do an off-campus internship he or she can get permission from the college to do internship. Mostly it will be based on the accounting types to do clients work and practising the accounts work in realtime during the internship period of one month or more. A student will be able to understand the work atmosphere in realtime with the work environment.
Placement Experience :
The final semester is the time when students are eligible for a campus interview. The companies visited are TCS, COGNIZANT, MINDBOX, GUARDIAN LIFE INSURANCE, ZOHO. The average package offered is depending upon the company and the student criteria and b.com graduate annual offers would be highest: 300000 lakh per annum to 400000. Average would be 250000 lakh per annum to 300000. 70% chance of a student getting placed. The place after getting the degree is to pursue PG coursed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fest is conducted for the freshers and the individual departments conduct programs for the students and students can opt for certain clubs where there also fest are being conducted every month inside the campus which is very much enjoyable for the students. The availability of books is high inside the campus library and for various departments. Amenities in classrooms; teaching boards, fans and a dustbin and a spacious room for students occupancy and projectors in need of subjects and drinking water outside the classroom. There are various clubs in the college which are classified into part V clubs in the college it can be chosen by students in college website in their first year of college and it will continue for 2 years and it is compulsory to take part in it to get the degree.
Hostel Facilities :
Facilities provided in the room are 3 cots for 3 students and a fan and 3 drinking water machine on a floor and restroom and bathroom on a floor. Food amount is separate 2000 per month. Meal quality: above average/ menu 6 days vegetarian 1-day non-veg. Application form is to be filled out in the office as earliest as possible to avail the hostel or else it will be full there are three hostels inside the campus. There are a lot of college students who have availed the rooms nearby college at affordable prices for rent.

The admission criteria in bishop Heber college are by 12th exam marks both state board or central board.
