Entrance Preview :
I took A IEEE test in 2004 as qualifier for DAIICT. My parents and I were impressed with the unique course structure and faculty. And when we reached campus, we were completely smitten by dean's vision of IT umbrella and of course the lovely campus.
Internships Opportunities :
At our time there wasn't a set process so I don't know much about it. Industrial training was offered after 2nd year.
Placement Experience :
All placed Companies like Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Infosys, accenture etc. I believe the systems were not in place that time because we were the fourth batch. But still the reputation in the market was changing fast. It was normal for people to get placed in more than three companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
No idea about now, but back then it was around 35000 per semester including hostel. The food was not the typical mess food but a lot of options from various cuisines. This is the college for you if you are a foodie. I am sure the fees has tripled at least in the last few years.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio at out time was 90:10. I hope it change over the last 10 years. As there was no quota at that time, so we had the mix from all over India. About 30%, of the batch was from South India. 40% from North with loads from uttar pradesh.
Faculty :
Extremely qualified. All were PhD from US universities or IITs. They worked really hard on outlining the courses and were diligent enough to to take pop quizzes every now and then. College use to maintained high standards as far as faculty was concerned.
