Remarks :

MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY is a prominent university established in 1965 by the government of Tamil Nadu. Steps to take admission in MKU-DDE are very simple. You just have to visit the website and download the admission form and then submit it online or offline. Admission generally takes in the month of April. If you want to pursue your study from home and you are getting admission to IGNOU then you can choose it. For more info, you can visit its official website as I also visited this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.A. in English Literature because it provides a bright future ahead as you can apply in any field except some. For study purposes, you will get some video lectures, live classes, etc. If I talk about exams then you will get some assignments which you will have to complete and submit timely.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience :

Here in this college, there are no placements cell and company does not visit in this college as it is distance learning. You will have to get placement off-campus. I am preparing for UPSC so I will try to clear this after completing my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I talk about fee structure then it will 2500 for the first year and the same for the second and third year also. So in total, you will have to spend 7500 for three years other than the exam fee. There is not any scholarship for DDE students.

Campus Life :

As this is DDE so there is no fest organized for students or by the students. You will have to purchase your own books for the study purpose as it is DDE so you will not visit college. Also, you will not find any clubs. You will have to join a WhatsApp group.

The highest packages company's offer starts from Rs 6,00,000 per annum. The profiles offer ranges from a Financial Analyst, HR Manager, computer professional and many more. The percentage of students getting placement is about 50%. My plans after getting the degree are to work in some company for 2 years and after that doing MBA from abroad.
