Remarks :

My experience with this college was very good, as i am a nature loving person, i really loved the campus and college as it has many trees, and its so green. we can enjoy different kinds of birds in the campus, i use to go early morning just to photograph the birds and the sunrise, the nature, etc. the campus gives you everything you need at this age, one can never get bored with this campus.

Entrance Preview :

There is no particular exam you have to give to get admission in this college, but you need to give the entrance exam which happens in college itself. i scored 4th ranked in the exam and i choose this college because it is one of the best college for interior design.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is good, it goes with the capability of the students, like in first year they focus on sketching freehand drawings and other aspects which will be helpful for the students in the further years and their whole life, then the other two years follows with the architecture and interior design.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provide us internship but only to those students who score well, are regular to college and who work hard the general stipend is around 6000, but as the student is doing well in the internship the stipend and the salary increases as per the procedure.

Placement Experience :

The companies don't come in college for placements, we get the address from the college for the company and we have to go to them for the interviews, at the end all students get placements only few student get left who don't work well, who are not much interested and who are not sharp with their skills, the companies offer salary of around 20000 to 25000 at the start.

College Events :

There is always an annual event celebrated in the college in the month of october, before diwali, the event includes, sports, singing compititions, dancing, drama, concert and many more things, it runs for around 3 to 4 days, and students also gets prizes for their participations as well as winning.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is not so expensive, the fees per semester is 10,000 and it keeps on decreasing per semester, the 6th semester in totally internship so the fees for it is just around rs 4000. the total fees per semester includes the tution fees, library and other lab fees like computer etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a scholarship for only the students of st st castes, other than that no scholarship or loan is provided for students from college.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio in class is always close to equal, there are 60 students so 25 can be girls and 35 can be boys. nothing like the nonsense ragging and all happen in this college, we always do extracurricular activities like growing plants, learning agriculture, making structures with different material , doing site visits and any things like that.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel inside the campus is good, its comfortable in living and students have every facility they need there is wifi for educational purpose for the students, they provide mess and canteens. the hostel rooms are big enough and are shared with other students, basically there are three students in a room. the seats are limited in the hostel so outside the campus student can get PG and the rent for is can be 6000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna :

The senior students always meet everyone in college, they be helpful, they guide us when we are going wrong, when we are freshers the seniors give us fresher parties and when they are out, we give them farewell.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is actually good, exam happens in every six months, that is end of every semester the exam doesn't feels like an exam, it feels more like a drawing or a painting competition, we are given the big wooden boards and big papers, sit separately and write or draw our exam we really enjoy it.

Admission :

First we have to fill the application form in college itself, the forms are distributed in the college, we have to go and collect it. then they will provide us the date of the entrance exam which will be held in the college itself if we pass the entrance test then we will be selected and we need to pay the fees before the given date to secure our seat in the class.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college are helpful, knowledgeable and shows much interest in teaching as well as our work they don't behave like they are only working for money, they are always behind us and sometimes force us to work, work nicely and improve our design skills, they take us to the sites, city tours and show us the actual practical work, they are not only depended on the notes and classwork, sometimes they teach us in the outside lawn, garden so that we get attached to nature and learn something from it.

From 3rd semester there is more fieldwork, students start working, and we get opportunities provided by our faculty I worked with Anaita Shroff in the living room story pop-up twice, I worked with Suzanne Khan, and many more. If talking about the percentage of people getting placement I would say 80%.

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first make sure to fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admission in the college, which is to first pass class 12 and then give the ISDI challenge, then an interview round is conducted for our final selection.

Placement Experience:

Many organisations provide placements, these placements are provided, 80% on the basis of the interview they give and 20% on the basis of the student's academic performance. The placements are limited , hence the students have a lot of competition among themselves.

Admission:

Any candidate who has completed 10+2 from any examination board such as HSC, CBSE, ISC is best suited for the course. A person has a profound interest in design and innovation and design can also apply for the course. The age limit for the course is 21. The admission is based on an entrance exam that is taken by the institute.

Placement Experience:

The institute has consistently placed over 100+ students every year after graduation. Many different ways are adopted for the recruitment process for the students. With various collaborations that have led to various ideas to prompt the placement of the students. Every year many students get recruited by big companies. The list of frequent recruiting companies at the campus are Infosys, Adobe, HCL Hue, and many more.
