Remarks :

There is not much bad effects from pondicherry university still university in is not able to maintain a coordination.

Entrance Preview :

University conduct an entrance examination for admission procedure in various dates in many centers across country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is an excellent and innovative one its a five year program in semester wise mode. We have to take and submit one project paper on final year which will become a base stone for research oriented minds. University follows cgpa system that is choice based credit system.

Internships Opportunities :

University provide a stipend of 750 per month for all integrated science students which will be getting after completing each year with out arrears internship will arranged by faculties in department itself under him or under indian academy of sciences.

Placement Experience :

University is having a placement cell in each department coordinated by administrative section. each department have a faculty for placement related things and majority of students got placed in every year by this placement cell in science areas many scientific tool making companies are taking talents from university in every year.

College Events :

There are plenty of cultural cum academic programs in pondicherry central university in each year at the end of semester there shall be a one day program named as hostel day which is a cultural cum sports program for students who stayed in hostel. there is also a sports meet in each year conducted by physical education departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is a central university so fee structure is affordable for every students who got admitted in each year still there is a fee for each semester which is different for arts and science subjects fee is nearly about two thousand for odd semester and nearly six thousand for even semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is available for students who got admitted in integrated science subjects at the rate of 750 rupees per month, and which is credited to bank accounts in the end of semester.

Campus Life :

University campus is an awesome area for spending time campus is divided in to science management and arts campus there are about 5000 students studying in university which include day scholar students coming from native areas. advanced labs are available in university.

Hostel Facilities :

University hostel here is very very hygienic when compared to other government institutions there is a cleaning team for each hostel they will clean hostels in every and day even in sunday also mess food is comparatively better than other universities.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are helpful in campus life as well as in academic area they will share their valuable experiences with junior students.

Exam Structure :

University have its own examination conducted in varies centres across the country its a multiple choice entrance examination and the mode exam is only through online each question caries one mark and a negative mark of is also there in integrated subjects there are three parts which are physics chemistry mathematics.

Admission :

First apply online through university website, attend the exam after publishing the result the admission will takes place based on rank reservation is based on the regulation by govt of india university will publish two rank list. first one is merit list second one is waiting list.

Faculty :

All professors in department are talented in their own area and many of them are post doctoral fellows and visiting faculties of foreign countries. many of them are completed their degrees and phd from indias leading institutions like iit iisc iiser etc they are very helpful for research type analysis of scientific experiments.

Admission is on the basis of the Admission is through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) conducted by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Students are also evaluated on the basis of their academic record.

Placement Experience:

The companies that frequently visit our campus includes hospitality brands like Oberoi, Taj, ITC, Mahindra, and more. Internship assistance is also provided by the college. Almost, all the students got the internship. The stipend were also good. The placement cell of our college is very helpful for us.

A suitable college for Hotel management courses

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of NCHMCT-JEE Test. Cut-off goes upto 7000. During the counselling process multiple cut offs are released for separate categories. During the admission process preference is given to the students from Pondicherry.

Placement Experience:

Placement is pretty good in our college. Almost all of the students from my batch were placed even before the session ended. Though the companies which visited the campus were all good. The average salary offered was pretty low. The company visited the campus mainly for the profiles in hotel management domain and marketing and management.
