Remarks :

College is improving as per global standards, which is really good in improving all the individuals going over there I personally thinks its a good place to have studies and fun together and build your future.

Entrance Preview :

I got the seat via Bangalore University for MSc in Electronics, counselling was done during which my first priority was The Oxford College Of Science.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was prescribed by B.U,the faculty is good and kind they were able help me through most of the problems regarding the subjects and most importantly they make time for you give personal attention if required to solve the issue and this is best thing ever happened to me.

Internships Opportunities :

They do provide internship, but fortunately I got the job over there in EmbDes technologies company and became full time but the package offered was not up-to the industrial standards later on it was changed.

Placement Experience :

There were several companies had appeared when I was doing the course, I had attended several and got through the internship itself also I had option to choose company which I wanted to work with, faculty encourage you to attended and they make you prepare for it.

College Events :

They were many events were conducted by the college, but unfortunately I did not participate in all the events. Once they had conducted the festival which was for 3 long whole day in which I really enjoyed myself and there was one more event conducted where they inaugurated the IEEE paper release.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I got through the government seat via Bangalore University, the management would be on the higher side though.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They do provide scholarship in college which i did not avail.

Campus Life :

Labs are good they have all new tech equipment's which helps a lot in knowing these devices functionality and usability. Sports room is present where you can have fun.

Hostel Facilities :

I lived with my parents, so cant comment on the hostel though.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni happens every year in summer time, they seem to have a lot fun over there.

Exam Structure :

Labs were done until you understood completely and explain it to the faculty before leaving the lab which really helped me a lot to improve myself and gain more knowledge, it was easy for me to face viva exams since they trained me well in different labs for all the semesters.

Faculty :

Faculty is very good, they have very strong knowledge in the subjects, they'll literally teach you how to tackle through the exams and prepare for the exams also boost your confidence and they give periodic tests which is good which gives an idea how much you know the subject properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the subject. Mainly I like the subject biotechnology it has many sub-subjects to study. Faculty members are not good but we should adjust. Students are approximately around 60. Faculty member's qualification is good but the way they teach is not proper because sometimes I don't understand the language itself. And there will be sudden tests and internals we won't get proper time to study only.

The college is a good place , with good ambience and experienced faculties. The only negative about the college is the lacking of a good laboratory ,which is also managed with the guidance of faculty.

Remarks:

All in all Jain University is a great college but the school of graduate studies needs some improvement. Students spend a majority of their time in college and it's sad when that environment is uncomfortable and below a certain standard. The management also need to learn to treat students as adults no matter how ill behaved some might get- and respect their space and behave in a way that shows respect. Watching management course and threaten definatly doesnt help.
