Course Curriculum Overview :
Our Engineering course was for four years. It has eight semesters, there are two semesters every year. The first is common for all the departments. From the second year, the core subjects starts for every department like it is Electronics and communications for me. The curriculum has specific subjects and knowledge that helps in understanding and being prepared for the industry. They organize Industrial visits in our second and third year to provide exposure. All the knowledge gained during the course is helpful to secure campus placement.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides placements. They take special interest in bringing the companies to our college for placements. College gives us special training from the sixth semester. On campus-Placements happen in our final eight semester. Around sixth percentage of students gets placed. Some of the companies that visited our college for the Placement drive are Tata Consultancy Services, Mphasis and Infosys.
College Events :
We have our own college festival with the name UTSAV which happened every year in the last week of January or the first week of February. Students from different department participates in various competitions organised as part of the festival. The average number of participants are around 2000.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure if affordable. It is Rs 35000 /- per Annum. There are no hidden Or additional charges in it. We usually have the transportation fee additionally for students who opts to us college transport.The college provides complete transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college doesn't have any additional scholarship program. However, there are few seats allotted under the Management quote. Apart from the Merit category admissions who comes through the Entrance exam and counselling, the management quota can be directly taken from the college. The fee for these seats is high and it varies every year. You'll be have to contact the college for seats availability and fee.
Campus Life :
Usually the gender ratio is around six to four, where six are male and four are female. We do not have any specific parties. We have our in-house parties happening between the departments and all the departments together. Students come from different cities across the state. The economic standards of the students are medium, they come from families in the middle managers category.
Alumni/Alumna :
Currently, we do not have any connects with our Alumni network. The college doesn't have any specific attention towards that space at our time, as our college is still at the early progressing stage.
Admission :
After finishing my 12th Grade, I have made up by my mind to opt for Engineering as my further studies, as most of my relatives, seniors, and peers suggested the same. I am from the state Andhra Pradesh, for Engineering studies aspirants we have an entrance exam called EAMCET. I have also taken the test. Ranks will be given as per our performance in the exam. After that, Counselling would be there where we were given an opportunity to select the course & college we are interested in, from the available seats in the state. I selected for this college and course as the college is very renowned in our region for a good education and the course is considered to have a great future.
Faculty :
On an average we have around six subjects every semester. Three of the subjects have practicals too. There are six subject teachers every semester, their age is in early thirties, who holds a post graduate degree with at least three years of teaching experience. Above them, we have Head of Departments who monitors everything related to that department. Their age is early forties. The assistance teachers in the laboratory are either freshers or holds experience of one to two years and their age is in mid twenties. The Principal is the top Management who looks after the academics and administration. The Principal's age is in forties. They hold relevant experience and certifications as per the hierarchy.
