Remarks :

I choose this college beacause it has 100% doctoral faculty, Fully flexible credit system (FFCS), CALTECH, and a very extensive alumni and support at VIT. It also has a very good placement cell, which provides us with different opportunity and process as well as latest technology in market.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course distribution is really good and well updated with different upcoming new technology as well as ongoing technology. We were not provided as much industrial exposure as I expected, we rarely had someone speaking to us in the first two of my college but in 3rd year(right now),we had a whole lot of webinars being hosted and lot of industrial exposure. There are good faculties as well as bad but according to me we had computational physics as one of our subject in semester 3, which was taken by Dr. Prakash sarkar. He was really good and had a lot of experience in this subject. Some of other teachers are Dr. K Manikandan, Dr. R Manikandan, Dr. Pushpendra Singh patheja.

Course Fees : INR 304000 per year

Placement Experience :

It is really good. There are alot of good companies who has visited is with very extensive profile and offering a lot variety of jobs. The placement department is doing its best and already we have 1 year of placement training going on now in 3rd year.

College Events :

I don't think there is a campus life. We have one academic section and two hostel (one for boys and other for girls). The management is very strict with girls and boys i.e - they still have an older thinking and there is a fine called "PDA",which is collected if any boy are girl are crossing the line and there is not any definition for that line and the fine are really very hefty. There are rarely any events going on in the college and therefore the participation is high for any event organised.

Campus Life :

All the infrastructure are of medium level. IT is not as good as expected. Labs are really horrible with very few equipment as compared to strength of students. Wi-fi is good. Library size is again to small as compared to the total strength of student.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels rooms are good but the food is very bad or rather south indian oriented, which is not liked by many north indian. Most of the rules are nonsense and there Is always some clashes going on between the different officials and students. The price is very high as per the facilities provided is concerned for hostel and mess. You can avail hostel very easily but during realtime availing of hostel, you will face a whole lot of issue. Hostels rooms are divided in to ac and non-ac-2,3,4,6 bedded and the price depends on that.

Hostel Fee : INR 112000 per year

Me and My College

Remarks:

The college is good but the conditions of hostels are very bad. And one thing, the teachers sometime goes so deep that they slows the speed and atlast syallabus remains incomplete and they extra classes to complete it. Teachers are the last word in my College, and no student can't argue or they deduct attendance or cut internal marks. ( This is applicable for only Gwalior Campus).

The university is a renowned Central University basically known for good quality education and many courses that it offers. There are no bad remarks as such. The only one being that the city is not so well developed so the students may face some problems but the university is upto the mark.
