Remarks :
College of engineering Bhubaneshwar is one of the better colleges among all other private colleges in Odisha You can take Jee main Or Odisha combined exam to get a chance in this college. Avg. Mark is enough to get a chance in COEB -having a good placement record, many MNCs off-campus and some on campus are arranged by the college each year. - college location is inside the main city many coaching institutes for CAT, GATE, etc. are nearby colleges. - Good faculty and good administration. -Good campus infrastructure. -Avg. Food and hostels Facilities Considering all the aspects I can say it is not the best but it's quite decent to go for engineering study. COEB is under koustuv group of institutions with other 7 colleges for MBA, Media, women engineering college (Kisd) and Diploma studies.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer science because I am very much interested to know about technologies. And our helped me with every possible help in it. Here faculties are mostly p.Hd Or m. Tech they have a nice teaching experience. Their teaching methods are good. Here 75% attendance is necessary. All the internals and practical exams are there, properly ball the internals exams are conducted. Here college is affiliated with BPUT university. But it is one of the most prestigious universities in India. The exam pattern is so lengthy. Complexity is avg.
Internships Opportunities :
College helps and suggest better internship opportunities but the college didn't help us directly by offering any internship.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement here is good But not best. MNCs like Infosys, IBM, TCS, Mindtree, Cognizant are visited but last 2-3 years instead of on-campus students attended off-campus with other 2-3 colleges. Some good on campus are also there. Almost every student got placed in my batch during last semester. But not everyone got a decent package. Here highest package was 10 and the average package was 3 in my batch From the final year we were eligible to take part in any campus drive. You can appear on multiple campus drives here even you already got a job.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Here fee structure is very also nice 240000 is the course fee which is affordable. College having a bank inside where we can pay it easily or we can pay it online UPIs or from the administration building. The hostel is not up to the mark though the cost is affordable. You can apply for different state scholarship forms like E-Kalyan for Jharkhand. In terms of job opportunity, it is good but you can't say better, though I got 3 jobs from on-campus and off-campus included.
Campus Life :
Social life is awesome here, the campus is inside the city, so you can easily go out anywhere even late at night. Every year annual tech fest and annual cultural function has been organized by the college. Apart from it, the trojan club and other clubs are there to learn cultural activities. Some small cultural functions including fresher and farewell are there. Annual sports meet is one of the most enjoyable events where multiple games are there to participate in intra college or inter-college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is not up to mark. Food quality and variety are not that good I can't say it's quite decent. So I rented a room near the college campus.
