Remarks :
Good are a lot like college faculty, studies, facilities, college festivals.I like them a lot. Some bad would be mess food and it should could little less given then taste, and gender ratio is less. My final words to College Management would be that they are doing a great job and i would like to add if they give some kind of scholarships to girls, gender ratuo would improve greatly and if they can improve quality of food. It ll be best private college of uttar pradesh.
Entrance Preview :
IIT JEE( I wanted to get an IIT college in starting but i didnt get such good marks in the exam so i got this counseling through my IIT mains rank.I choose this over other colleges because its a reputed college and some of my friends were already there and they told me about its qualities. As to why i choose mechanical. I love physics a lot and pretty good at it and since class 10th it was my dream to study and be a mechanical engineer. Admission process is easy just get good marks in UPTU or IIT mains.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very nicely structured. It is made in a way that things are easy to understand and things dont get out of hands. We can do our assignments on work. There is not too much work and if u do it properly u will complete it. And there is lot of pratical and research work so that students dont get bored and it make things easier to understand and fun. The main focus is on research and how we can use our studies in real world. The faculty is well qualified and there is no shortage there. But one thing is there if u interested then faculty will teach u well and take interest in you. They always try to make things easier for us. So if u r a good student faculty is really good.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship in wipro.other companies were infosys and HCL to name a few. Experience was good.I learned a lot there and i got 15000 per month for my internship.
Placement Experience :
The job placements are okay to on the good side.last year 60% students got placements. Many companies came like infosys, wipro, HCL, google, dell and many more. Infosys offered 8 lakh per annum. Wipro 7 lakh. HCL 10.5 Lakhs and google 50 lakhs but they hired only one student.
College Events :
Vibrations- its our annula college fest. Its pretty big, other college students take part like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and others. Many Bollywood celebrities have come here too. TechTrishna it is inter college tech fest and its really awesome. Saksham it is inter department sports fest. Most of the sports are played here. All India Ajay Kumar Garg Memorial Table Tennis Tournament it is held in association with Ghaziabad District Table Tennis Association here players and students from all over India take part in this tournament and it is one of the important fest of ours.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Hostels are good and well spacious. There is no shortage of hostel seats. Although u have to share rooms with others. There are different rooms like 2 seater and 3 seater. Fee is not high hostel and mess food fee for 1 year is 80000. The mess food is not that good. It is just okay. I would rate hotel 8 out of 10 and mess food 7 out of 10.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yeah if your father's salary is less than 2lakh per annum u can apply for scholarship. You ll get 81000 per annum. And there is schoralship for OBCs but i dont know about that.
Campus Life :
Campus life is one of the best u can get in any college. Many important necessities are present here. In my department gender ratio is really low but overall it is better than my department. But still girls are less. There are many cultural societies like GOONJ, TAAL EUPHONY, SUR, ZEST, FOOTPRINTS and i was a part of GOONJ. Students diversity is very wide u ll get students from every corner of India. One thing that is good in my college is that people are cool and your gender, race and doesnt matter to them and ragging is a lot less thn other colleges.
Alumni/Alumna :
I talk a lot to my seniors. One of my school friend is my senior. The talk is very productive. They give their experience and make life easier for their juniors. I met Harshit Agarwal he got AIR 2 in GATE. I talked to him for like half an hour. After talking to him i realized how good a platform i have got and how to use it to achieve great things.
