Remarks :
It was an autonomous college located at vijayawada and good and perfect for learning courses. Just a checking of certificates at the time of admission with proper checking of certificates. No ragging and difference in time for every year of the students timings. Here there is proper equipment for lab and mostly useful for all with the library. We has NCC and NSS too. It is a long distance from Benz circle and the hostel also provided with the bus facilities it was an disadvantage. Course Curriculum Overview :
Most the jobs regarding the Civil are probably of more types such as design, structural, environmental Engineering etc.., Now a days most are referring to join the courses for the job only. Faculty are of Ph.D. qualifications mostly apart and the teaching is also good. Some of them may tell on the board and some by projector classes Here we had to learn an language which is counted to be an credit. Term exams are to be conducted once a month If we understand the chapter it is easy for them those who doesn't listen may effect them on exams. For a class there is a max no. Of 70 students nearly with a faculty of nearly 48 staff for each department.
Internships Opportunities :
Coming to the part of internship college will assign some of the companies for the internship. If we are not interested in them we should check ourselves or some of the company come for placement and acquire you there you may start your internship program Some may give the stipend and some mayn't give the stipend. It is based on them only.
Placement Experience :
We had a placement from 6th semester. Mostly companies like TCS,AMAZON,INFOSYS,NAGARJUNA CEMENT and more over companies come forward for placement. The highest package is 21 lakhs per annum from Amazon. Mostly people of CGPA more than 7.0 are to be taken for placement. Last year totally 941 placement are being done. My plan is first acquire job in campus drive and later to get a job in job either in RRB or SSC
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Here Cse is the toughest and the rank regarding the course also be near as rank as University. Remaining may be least different to be apart of ranks but the learning is best. Extra courses should also can be learner by moocs and as open electives. Coming to the college fees it has a challan of 1850 to be paid with a fee of 1,02,000 for students who are from parents of govt. Job holder and management quota and pays income tax too. Coming to reimbursement quota by Jaganna Vidya Devana (JVD) it will be covered for ap students. The stipend or scholarship from JVD is 20,000 for year which may be transferred to mother's account.
Campus Life :
AFOSEC is the fest which is conducted at February month is the biggest fest for our college which may conducted for two days with extra curricular activities with the stalls and more competition which may win the certificate with some of amount too for general knowledge competition. We had NCC and NSS for the students from 2 nd year. We had gym, badminton court and ground. We play games like cricket, badminton etc., During the before of AFOSEC we had sports competition between departments for cricket and badminton for all departments and basketball, volleyball too. Our library consists of more books and journals regarding the Civil dept. And excess journals which we may not take home but can read there only.
Interview Experience :
No still I'm student of 3rd year I didn't face any group discussion for interview. But while as an English lab they proposed the group discussion for us in the 2nd year of 2 nd sem. Those who are above 8.0 points may be directed to group discussion. Remaining people should write aptitude test.
