Remarks :

Choices of specialisation (as I wanted to take Information System which is not offered by most of the colleges), campus atmosphere (lush green campus, cool and quiet), placement data and affiliation to Mysore Univ (one of the oldest and reputed Universities of the country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus of MBA in our country (in general) is not so up-to-date (unlike PGDM). So was the case with us as well. However, our faculties always gave us an exposure and idea of the ongoing topics. International Conferences, guest visits and lectures were organised time to time. Most of the faculties are okay, however, there are few who will run that extra mile to disseminate the knowledge. Prof. Nagendra Hegde, Dr. Vaishali, Dr. Nandeesh are among those few. Industrial exposure could have been a lot better.

Internships Opportunities :

Workshaala Spaces, Digital Marketing and Operations, 5k per month. Got the internship through internshala.

Placement Experience :

Delloite, Bata, ICICI, HDFC, Marico, RB, KPMG, Adobe, etc were the companies that visited in 2018. The average package was 5-6 lpa and some of the common offered profiles were management trainee, tax analyst, BDE. The placement process is good and strict. The college also offers programmes to groom the students and make them placement ready. The referrals are not that good (but you can always build a network on your own). The E-Cell is good and is in association with Wadhwani group.

College Events :

Campus is full of greenery, cool and quiet. However, if you are a city person, you may not like it as it is in the outskirt. The management festivals were okay and average. So were the cultural and technical.

Campus Life :

If you are a TT or basketball player, you will be happy with the infrastructure. If you are a footballer, the campus doesn't have a big ground to play football. Library size is fine (considering that the college offers only business management course). Wi-fi is fine but under strict surveillance and restrictions.

Hostel Facilities :

They have now made it a residential course. In our time we had option to be a day scholar. I was a day scholar. It is a vegetarian campus and so are the hostels. Not aware of the quality of the hostel facilities or mess.

Placement Experience:

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
