Remarks :

As it is a deemd university and approved by AICTE and UGC. This college has good faculties who guide us adequately and its syllabus or course structure is simple yet effective. And also it provides good infrastructure surrounding by a greenery environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very much apt as per the syllabus and subject and it may vary on the course you choose. Not exactly, but you can get to visit industrial training sometimes through reference. Most of the faculties are well qualified and they try their best to assist in career paths. Mr. Manoj Samal was one of the young good faculties among others.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No, I had not applied for any internships.

Placement Experience :

A few good companies do visit the college frequently such as Infosys, Britiannia, Absys IT, Jaro Education, L'oreal, Byju's among other automobile industries. Placement process is good but sometimes the placement drives are conducting mid of the semester exams. They do have a good alumni network but they are active when they need something from alumnis.

College Events :

College do conduct Tech fest, Annual cultural events. And sometimes they organize inter-college workshops and sports events and within the college as well. The events are depend the budget and student enthusiasm of the respective batch, sometimes it's big and sometimes it's decent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are no such special scholarships but if you are performing well in academics and financially weak then they provide fees concession. And also they have loan facilities too.

Campus Life :

The college is surrounded by hills as it is away from the city crowd. And it has a large playground for cricket/ Football, a Tennis Court, a basketball court. It provides a spacious library for more than 150 students with good wi-fi and a large collection of books.

Hostel Facilities :

It has 4 boy's hostel and 2 girl's hostel. Hostel rooms are sharing where they allocate 4 students for one room with individual cupboards. Hotels seats won't be any problem. Hostel facilities are ample enough what it should be and college mess, cooperative store, laundry, saloon within the campus beside hostels, so everything is accessible.

The college is very good for the students approaching for the Bpt course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From childhood, I wanted to treat the people having pain.And when i came to know about physiotherapy ,I choose this course as it is the way to treat patients without drugs. The faculty student ratio is much not different. It is approximately 1:20. Most of the faculties are MPT and Ph.D holders.The college is run under Utkal University. The couse has total 8 semesters.

NIT Rourkela: The Blazing Ground for Opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last year of their completion of the course, although most of us got the PPO (Pre Placement Offer) before the campus placement at the end of our internships. This year (2022) 325 companies visited for campus placements and a total of 1,274 offers were made. The highest CTC offered was up to 46 lakhs rupees and the average CTC offered is 11.2 lakhs rupees for the software, core and analytics companies combined. Some of the companies which offered the handsome packages are Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle. Overall approx 93 per cent of students are placed during this year's campus placements.

After 3rd semester you will get the chance to opt for placement. This college doesn't provide much placement but it's better than other government colleges. As there is a lockdown since 2020, this year students didn't get much chance for placement.
