Remarks :

Management is good enough to manage all the things. One good point for our college is that there is no ragging an antiragging commity is there who is preventing the 1st year student from being ragged.

Entrance Preview :

I have prepared for so many competitive exams but at last i got around 10000 rank in WBJEEB exam and i took admission in hit haldia. Currenty i am persuing btech in 3rd year as engineering student.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As u all know that in engineering colleges u have to study by own there is no any good faculty available for all subjects. But afterall some faculty members are good enough and there is some classes which is conducted with the help of projector.

Internships Opportunities :

Yet i have not done any internship but i have decide to do internship at tata steel,jamshedpur.

Placement Experience :

Placement record is good. I want to say that around an average of 3.5lac average salary job u can get if u have average acdemic curriculum vitae.

College Events :

There are many scope of cultural activities in every year college have oraganised cultural fest as well as riveria. Some technical lab view workshop as well as seminar by hr of different companies who have come here for recruitment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As u all know that every state provide scholarship for their state student for higher study and our college also provide student freeship for those student who have score top marks in their department.

Campus Life :

Now i am in 3rd year and i have experienced my 2 year B.Tech life. This is a platform where u can express u feelings,thoughts and u can also perform experiments about your thoughts. Faculty will also helps if u want to express your view and i think this is the golden period of ur life to do any good work or initiate any work according to your view. There is no any discrimination between girls and boys in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

As compare any other private colleges in west bengal tuition fee as well as hostel fee is comparatively less here. There are total 12 hostel in which some hostel and mess facility mess good and rest are mnot good.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Ya senior student we have to fear from senior students but at time of teachers day there is interacting with junior stuident and also tells something about college study process and about extra activities. They also make me aware about placement process and alumni network.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
