Remarks :

Availability of MSc Bioinformatics degree, autonomous college and near from home. Reputation of good academic and opportunities which Khalsa has, further admission based on entrance score making the admission fair.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Ms Aparna Patil Kose is a good faculty from the department, they have an updated syllabus covering programming languages till python in 4 semesters. Industrial exposure is through visiting faculty who are industry experts eg Dr Ajit Datar from shizmadzu or through industrial visits to Pune, Daman, etc.

Class Size : 32Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

No placements offered, but faculty helps with advising whenever needed. Even motivate to participate in competition which can boost the CV.

College Events :

Multiple departmental fest are held by different departments of the Research Wing of G N Khalsa College. They have all college fest called Nazrana while Bioinformatics Department has their own fest called BION.

Campus Life :

Huge library, several number of computers available in both the bioinformatics labs, air conditioned labs, ground for sports activities. College hall for supporting the cultural activities. Khalsa even has a Gurudwara.

The percentage of placements is 80%.
