Remarks :

All together I would say that its a good college to go for hotel management in pune you can surely get many more positives once you enter the new building at Tathawade.

Entrance Preview :

There was no entrance exam for the course at that time. It was based on the marks we got in finals & admission is purely on merit basis.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was pretty good & designed by University of Pune. It was eight semester course out of which one semester was for field work food production, F&B service & housekeeping were the major subjects along with others like communication, french, hotel engineering, human resource management, marketing management etc.

Internships Opportunities :

The college offered internship at different locations in India & at different well established brands like Taj, Oberoi, Le Meridien, Leela etc. Some hotels used to give little stipend while many are not.

Placement Experience :

Lot many companies used to come to the campus like JW Marriott, Taj group of hotels, RKHS, Leela, Hotel Pride Best westin, Le meridien. Also many students went abroad through using college platform.

College Events :

We used to celebrate many events mainly it was Food festival which was the biggest event during those days we had Maratha food festival, Oriental food festival etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its a difficult question as feasibility may differ from person to person but i can say that it was moderate structure for fees. With good marks one can get lower fees slab & others in higher slab.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not scholarship but loan can be taken through various banks in India. College can give required documents to the students to avail the facility of loan.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good kind of students are generally busy in lot of activities like practical, journal submission etc. We used to play volleyball on daily basis.

Hostel Facilities :

I was not the student who stayed in hostel so cant comment on it but those who used to stay in hostel were happy about the facilities this is again not my personal experience.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There are alumni network happening but not very active as such need to give it a effort to happen it can create more job openings for new students.

Exam Structure :

The exam was divided into two parts - theory & practical both were conducted & govern by University of Pune it was a semester pattern & six subjects per semester.

Faculty :

All were good & experienced faculty having national & international exposure it was very disciplined approach by all of them & every element was taken care of very seriously.

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester that is 3rd year students are eligiable for campus interview various well know 5 star properties come to college for campus interview. There are innumerable offers for the student in this college for campus interview. The 5 star properties such as THE TAJ, THE OBEROI, GRAND HYATT, JW MARRIOT, RENAISSANCE, THE LEELA, THE LALIT and many more the list is on 100% students get placements opportunities here in campus interview. After getting degree want to work with well know 5 star organisation and enhance my skill and give my time and my technical knowledge to take organisation a head.

Best college in Mumbai for hotel management

Placement Experience:

Holiday Inn. The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. Taj Hotels and Resorts. Cafe Coffee Day. Starbucks. Sofitel. Novotel. Hyatt. The Wok. and a couple of more. it depends on the interview with you has been crack college will give you the placement but it is in students hand which hotel you want to work.

One of the best in Mumbai 1

Remarks:

There are very positive remarks one of which is teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. This particular course helps students to develop their soft skill. The curriculum is designed so well that it forces you to get out of your comfort zone and grow as person. I can't say anything was bad. There were things which could be improved such as Proper locker Room and changing room for students but this issue was solved later on when I was about to finish my degree.

The best there is!

Remarks:

I don't think I could think of any bad remark but I would like if the college had a personal ground for the students even though we can go to the shivaji park ground for certain activities. The faculty, the food , the accommodation and everything is very good and adjustable. The only issue you might face is the absence of all class being air conditioned because the atmosphere of Mumbai is really challenging But the institution is all together very good.
