Remarks :

SLSH is one of the leading educational institutions which provides a stellar program for law students. With the state of the art infrastructure and a promising cultural life for students, there is very little to complain about. Cocooned in the lush fields of Telengana, the campus is built away from the city, thereby providing serenity and peace. Alongside this, the constant workshops, training programmes and impressive visiting faculty make SLSH the best choice for a law student.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum provided in the college is pretty standard and in sync with other law schools in the country. The program heavily focuses on research and research papers are a common form of assessment. Frequent assessments also mean that students regularly go through the syllabus. In addition to written tests, we have moot courts, debates, videos etc as form of assessments making the program challenging. Most of the faculty are on top of their game. As part of the curriculum, students have to do a legal internship after completion of every semester. This provides the students with exposure and an insight into the real legal world. This is an excellent practice and has helped students gain an edge.

Internships Opportunities :

I have successfully completed 3 internships as part of the college requirement1. CRY Mumbai, Volunteer Action2. Lenin Mohanty & Associates, Legal Intern3. Verus Advocates, Legal InternThe college has a Training and Placement Cell. The students have to fill out a form in order for the Cell to provide them with internships.

Placement Experience :

The first batch of the college graduated in 2019. For its first year, the college did an impressive job of placing almost all students. Law firms like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas had come for the recruitment drive. Students were placed in the legal departments of Bajaj Allianz and Oyo Rooms.

College Events :

The campus life is something most students enjoy. Since the campus houses UG Law students and PG MBA students, there is a constant array of fests and other events. SLSH's annual collegiate fest is SYMINARET. It is a culmination of festivities and celebration. Almost the entire college participates in organizing the fest. The fest sees colleges from the entire country come as participants. Apart from this, the college has around 30 areas of specializations or student run clubs such as the Legal Aid Centre, Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, Moot Court Association, Cultural Cell etc.

Campus Life :

The campus boasts of free wi-fi, a spacious library, a large moot court, several courts for sports among various other facilities. A gym along with personal trainers is also present in the campus. There is a small shopping complex with shops selling basic necessities and snacks. SLSH has one of the biggest auditoriums in the state.

Hostel Facilities :

SLSH is a completely residential campus. There are 4 hostels in total. Two hostels for girls and two for the boys. Three students are allotted one room. However, the rooms are spacious and airy. There is a balcony for every two rooms which the two rooms share. Each room has an attached washroom which has hot water 24/7. Each hostel has a warden and a clutter of guards. The opposite gender cant enter into each other's hostels. The curfew for entering the hostels is 12.00 AM and the curfew for entering the campus gates is 10.00 PM

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Courses are very interesting and very helpful for our future endeavours. The Courses like gender studies, environmental science, fundamentals of music, dance studies, English literature and many other course give wider perspective of the electives and help to develop a multidisciplinary thinking capacity for students and develop a good idea of knowledge on all spheres. The social science students can also take elective from other science departments like maths, physics, geology, biology and etc... The NEP is implemented fully in the campus and it helps the students in overall development. The timing of classes for undergraduate students starts at 8am and ends at 6pm . But it differs to the course selection and a student maximum have 5 hours of class a day.

Very large scale integration and digital signal processing courses were offered. The campus is in the heart of the city at Nampally. The college occupies an area of 66,070 sq ft (6,138 m2) built-in area with adjacent open space of approximate 16 acres (65,000 m2) for further expansion. It also houses the Deccan School of Management,

Placement Experience:

5-10 percent of students are getting placed every year, but for CSE and IT more placement is there. The highest salary package is 22lac and least is 3lac but however there is no proper packages and companies to recruit civil and mechanical students.
