Remarks :

GOVT LAW COLLEGE TVM is the best place to feel the world within your graduation. but there exists a dilemma the college is not up to the mark. but I would suggest the choosing glct will be one of your best choice.you have to give the entrance exam KLEE. after clearing the cutoff you have to approach the college with the required documents for scrutinizing.then pay the fee and grab your seat. Ideal faculty fabulous campus and efficient crowd. I got to know more about this college from collegedunia and their support was critical to my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I always wanted to become a leading advocate. and also why I choose ba llb was that writing skills have many things to do with llb.you have develop your writing proficiency to make your mark in this course and ba will definitely provide you that chance. the faculty is the best thing when it comes to glct.they are more of a student-friendly type.and they also provide you the best learning experience. there are about 120 students which is then divided into 2 batches each with 60 students.most of the faculties include alumni and many of them are senior advocates. the college follows semester system where you have to give the exam twice a year the exams are based on your syllabus and are facile.so don't worry about your exams.

Internships Opportunities :

You cannot discover any glamourous internships here but if can find any, GREAT. You can approach the corporate sector and find your role as a legal advisor. there are countless opportunities in the corporate sector.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The basic pay is 5000 which you have to pay at the time of your admission and PTA Fund depends on the category of the students. The fees are very affordable. The finest thing is that if you belong to the EWS category then you don't have to pay any fee.you have to submit an Income certificate to be exempted from paying the fees. Other than this the college does not provide any scholarships.so you can have your course with 0 fee and if have paid any amount before it will be refunded. The college does not provide many campus placement but if you can find any you are done.

Campus Life :

The campus is the best thing about college. very environment friendly and well maintained. the library contains a myriad of law books articles and all the stuff you need. Good infrastructure. the classrooms are well ventilated and maintained properly. The campus has a large playground for sports like basketball football cricket etc. There are various clubs for the students to enhance their skills and the most efficient is the NSS COMMUNITY.

Interview Experience :

It is more like an informal interview where you are asked to answer to their questions like why did you join the course college and what do you want to pursue after attaining the degree etc you don't need to prepare prior to this interview.so this part is not a big deal

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for the course is well thought and planned out, in relation to law related subjects the first focus is on the Constitution as it should be, the curriculum includes the important topics and is satisfactory. The bcom part of LLB prepares you for the real world by teaching you basics of accountancy amd business which might be necessary for your future. The course curriculum can be improved in areas of adding newer laws that were altered and added to our legal system to out textbooks as well. The frequency of exams are as necessary and the difficulty is moderate.

To achieve two degrees at the same time is what influenced me to choose this course, the teachers give almost a realistic touch towards the world with their classes. The exam timing completely depended on the Kerala University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cuuriculum is being updated. It is comprehensive enough but feels like a bit outdated in few areas.College has nothing to do with it.Decisions has to be made by the university. The faculties tries their best to help you pass your exams without suppliment and the rest is up to us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum appealed to me because it includes practical case studies and moot court sessions, which make legal theory more tangible. These aspects are crucial as they prepare us to apply what we learn in real legal scenarios. I feel adequately prepared for real-world legal practice due to the practical nature of the curriculum. It also lays a solid foundation for those considering advanced studies in specialized legal While the curriculum is solid, more emphasis on current legal issues and interdisciplinary perspectives could provide a more holistic understanding. Interactive classes and more practical exercises would enhance learning and engagement.

From 8th semester onwards we will be getting campus placement and many students availed it. Namely I don't know companies name . I think highest package is 50000/- per month with all facilities. Almost 50% students get placement in our college. My plan is to attain a bank manager post or to get in to the govt jobs.

Placement Experience:

A number of students from their second year placed for internships. Job placements are done in the final year. Most of the students choose to practice after graduation. There is a number of a law firm in Ernakulam. Thus internship opportunities are greater for students. There is 28 days internship every year as a syllabus. 80% of students are placed in companies. I'm planning to practice for 3 to 4 years along with preparation for judicial service exams.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
